Star World's new sitcom 'Breaking Bad'

Star World is all set to bring in a new sitcom "Breaking Bad". It is an American television drama series that will soon hit your nearest television sets. Guess what, Breaking Bad is created by Vince Gilligan, who spent several years writing the Fox series The X-Files. Now that sounds interesting. We are sure that this too might be a unique show based on Vince Gilligan's track record. So let's try to find out more about this new show.

The story revolves around a high school chemistry teacher, Walter White, who is soon diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. He soon gets in touch with his former student Jesse Pinkman and enters the dark world of selling drugs. Walter is in need of money as he needs to provide financial stability for his pregnant wife, Skyler and disabled son, and to pay for his expensive cancer treatment.

To make things more interesting, during Walter and Jesse's first days of selling drugs, they encounter a series of problems with local drug dealers. So, do you think Walter will be able to provide financial stability to his family? Or will there be a new twist in the story? Talking about the cast, the lead role of the character Walter White will be played by Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul will be playing the role of Jesse Pinkman, and Anna Gunn will be seen playing the character of Walter's wife, Skyler White.

Did you know that this series has won seven Primetime Emmy Awards—including three consecutive wins for Best Actor for Cranston, two wins for Best Supporting Actor for Paul, and three nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. Cranston has also been nominated three times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and nominated four times for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor, winning once at the 19th Screen Actors Guild Awards. WOW.. that is a long list of awards and recognition for this show.
