Last week I really liked Tejas' act { my only complaint was that the song sucked. it is getting worse with each sequel} , anu - rupsa act and steve-saumya's act.

Anu really did a great job and gave a new perspective to the song. Never imagined that it would suit the story of Ramayan so well. And I doubt Steve showed so much versitality in the entire IBD season which he did in this act😂

Vivek - Akina should have won the battle imo against Vau-Pari. Vau's comedy is quite cringe

the battle between Shivanshu and Sanchit was disappointing imo. I had high hopes from that. Sanchit really needs to figure out what kind of expressions would suit his style. Once he does that, his solos would be so much more powerful.

And saying it out loud again Malaika is a sore loser. Terence would have been much better as a judge.

What I like about this show is that the contestants will be having a different pairing every week. So everyone would get to learn from each other and adapt to each other's styles.

Day by day I'm not sure who's looking like the other more 🤣 i legit thought it was Tejas with Tushar in that Shut up n Bounce act 🤣 and here Tejas looking cutie like Flo 🤭

Also i feel like Malaika's botox went wrong 🤦 it's hard to look at her when she's talking 🤦 woh bhi kya din theyyyy when she used to be this bubbly VJ in MTV 😮‍💨

Anu should stick to dancing this time, she's such a gorgeous dancer 🥰

And God of Dance really really needs to work on his expressions 🤦 those alone reduces the Wow factor he has as a dancer 🤦 especially after Dukhanshu's performance.

Yesterday only watched shivanshu act and I felt it was another style maybe contemporary or mixed hip hop with classical that would have been better. Last twirl wala thing was dangerous. Also the song sounds slow but it has fast tempo, hard to do movement with that song. I felt his hand movements wasn't polished cause the song is fast. It don't go with his style.

I won't mention Malaika cause it's either makers ka idea of drama or her recent family issue. I don't care about judge anyway cause Remo is better imo.

I guess this time sexualized kid act is reduced a lot. I see Florina and I am like thank God there is this one girl who isn't dancing to those kinda song or suggestive move and idk if it's Tushar or her parents cause they did good job with that. She has improved so much lol did she grow this tall or its Tejas cause they are almost same height 🤣❤️

So I finally watched the first week's episode and can I just tell how wholesome it is to just see a group of wonderful dancers back on stage after the disaster called IBD 4? Also it is me who feels they are spending more on this champions show than they did throughout IBD 4?The sets and props look grander and much better. I wonder who the supervising choreographer is of the show since they don't show credits. Puneet absolutely ruined IBD 4 by turning it into another Dance Plus. I hope Binny is back because the choreography quality does seem like his.

So while I am liking the concept and the fact that some of the best dancers are facing each other but I thought this was a team competition and was disappointed with this whole finalist thing. They turned it into Dance Deewane Junior lol. Anyways coming to the performances, as much as I love our SD Bacchas, I think we have to agree that IBD 3 probably had some of the BEST dancers! Every IBD 3 contestant's performance was so good. Aniket, Shivanshu, Samarpan and even Debparna for that matter. They all look inteernational standard dancers.

I can't take Samarpan's performance out of my head. Ufff what is this guy? What is this smoothness? Unbelievable! Won fair and square! Same with Aniket. The fact that dancing on the stairs can look so beautiful - only a wonderful dancer like Aniket is capable of that. Again a fair and square win.

Coming to the bacchas, Tejas has always been the rockstar he is so there's not even a question about his swag and his talent but as much as I liked the performance, I still felt that it was a bit underwhelming choreography wise, probably because of the moving prop or something. They should've selected a better song for him. Fair and Square win though and a deserving first finalist.

Arshiya's performance felt a bit underwhelming as again it steered more towards athletics than dance. She also left a few beats here and there. Arshiya is such a versatile dancer yet looks like even this time they are going to make her do stunts like Debparna.

Not a fan of Akina's dance but dude they should've won the round fair and square against Vau and Pari. WTF was that act? Such outdated comedy acts looked good in Super Dancer 1 not now. Bechari Pari, such a wonderful dancer had to be reduced to doing taporigiri with Vau. Please tell me again why is Vau a part of this??🤬 Vivek and Akina 's act was wonderful, the choreography, concept and the whole production was mindblowing!

Shivanshu was too good in the battle against Sanchit. I don't know how did Remo make Sanchit win when his battle clearly lacked finesse and was repetitive. Shivanshu killed it in the round, he did not miss even a single beat, especially towards the end. He should've won the round.

Finally coming to my favorite act of the week, no point in guessing what will it be for a classical fan like me It was obviously Anu and Rupsa's Ami Je Tomar on Ramayana After Shweta-Pratiti-Sadhwi's Ramayana performance, this is going to be my next favorite act. What a song mix, what presentation, what fusion of the styles ufff...too good. They literally did five Indian dance styles and it was so beautiful especially the begining in Odissi with the golden dear. Uff I keep going back to see that part again and again. Like Mahi said I would've never thought Ami Je Tomar could've been presented like this. Also it had Sushiel Da's craft written on it completely. Sushiel Da 🤝 Classical acts on reality shows! Also I'm just so glad Rupsa is now being called to do semi classical and age appropriate dance otherwise I was so worried for her given the kind of dancers we see her do these days. 🙈 I felt the fusion of four different classical dance forms along with a folk dance was a much tougher act to execute than Saumya and Steve's act. As much as I enjoyed Saumya and Steve, I felt their act had too much which made it look a bit clumsy. Also great to finally see Steve doing other styles 🤣

My most disappointing act for the week for some reason was Tushar and Florina. First of all Tushar why tf would you choose a song like Shut Up and Bounce to dance with a kid 😭🤣 Plus the basketball prop is such an old prop in the book, there was nothing new in the act, we have seen such acts before. But I'm amazed to see how wonderful Florina has grown to be as a dancer. The confidence, the expressions, the stage presence and swag, I was bowled over by that. 🤩 Also Florina and something happening to her on stage goes hand in hand 🤣

Looking forward to this week. But last week I think IBD team should've won than SD. They were much better!

Actually this Flojas performance came up on my feed which prompted me to go watch the entire show as well and tbh I’m liking it so far, especially yesterday’s epi

Last week was just okay okay I think. I only enjoyed Saumya-Steve. Tejas was also good (my baccha is a choreographer now? Nobody’s even surprised ). Also liked Anu-Rupsa and Aniket. The Shivanshu-Sanchit battle was just fine. I liked both their solos though. It’s really nice to watch Sanchit again but his expressions need some work. I feel like he’s somehow the only kid who hasn’t grown much in terms of dance? He’s still doing the same old, but ig he was a master at it even then.

Skipped Pratik and that girl, also tbh my attention span is too short for Vivek’s storytelling acts so I skipped those as well I actually enjoyed and laughed throughout Vau-Pari’s though nothing new in terms of dance. I felt even their win was justified as explained by Remo. Flotus was a disappointment. Idk why Tushar forgets how to choreograph whenever he’s dancing with Flo She’s super capable now of doing anything he comes up with but he’s still stuck to his old ways ugh

Loved yesterday’s epi. Flojas was a treat to watch. And that choreo was outstanding Aniket-Saumya either dumbed down themselves or the choreo was just bad because they kinda sucked and were fumbling throughout the act. Vau-Rupsa was a school play like Malaika pointed out. Steve-Samarpan was good. Liked Sanchit-Tushar but Shivanshu caught my attention more. That fall was brutal Really felt bad for him. But tbh like Mohabbat pointed out, I thought his style didn’t match with the song. His first week solo was much better.

I am happy with Tejas being the first finalist but IBD team did deserve to win last week. And the Steve-Teju battle promo was so goood I watched it over and over

So my unpopular opinion seems to be that I am actually enjoying Malaika’s comments. I think her perspective is much more reflective of common folks though I agree she does come out as unsupportive and lacking sportsmanship as a Team Owner. But it is good to see contrasting judge’s opinions instead of the sab badiya irrelevant comments that used to be common in SD4. Also I feel these storytelling/visual acts are favored more by judges which I guess is justified since they get to experience it on stage, but as viewers the impact isn’t much for us

This show is clearly here for time pass cause Cid coming from 21 dec 10 pm slot so they will close this fast and maybe show Indian idol repeat in this time. Kids opposite adults is already a flawed idea lol of course adults are superior. I forgot the kids name but Florina time ka runners up the kid from Karnataka isnt here I guess.

Mid episode and they said #flotus trended a lot and #soni too. I was like wow they made up #soni

But I remembered the trio act (w boogie) from IBD 3 ToT
