So heartbreaking to see such a happy occasion turn to a tragedy

What should've been a joyous occasion ended up being a day with lives lost and many injured.

I can't even imagine the plight of those families who lost their loved ones. Just imagine, you are celebrating one day and in 24 hrs, you are gone!!

I hope those who are injured recover soon.

I also read a lot of social media posts + posts here on this forum. Unbelievable to see the hate and venom being spewed on the players. Really? Disgusting! How is it their fault?

Even here on this forum, ppl talking about karma of certain players....just FGTH with your hate-filled bullshit for certain players. None of the players should be held responsible for how a crowd behaves.

That said, the franchise could've planned it for another day so better arrangements could be made. I think they rushed this celebration because they knew some players would be leaving right away to England for the WTC tournament.

The cops clearly denied permission for a parade, so yes, they moved the event to just the stadium. I'm pretty sure no one anticipated something like this to happen so it unfair to blame anyone else but the crowd here. People got to have some civic sense.

As I said earlier

Indians has no civic sense, we don't know how to be part of big gatherings.

They don't hear the rules and regulations.

But at the same time it is on the State Government, Police and the RCB Management too.

They won after 18 yrs and everyone knows the fans will come in huge nos.

Someone said that they distributed tickets without proper management, many with the tickets weren't allowed inside bcoz Stadium was full.

It was a non organized, chaotic event, it should have planned well but nahi sab kuch jaldi jaldi kiya for no reason.

Also RCB Management and the Government and officials cannot say they didn't know what is happening outside in name of jammers.

So it wasn't like they were cut from outside world.

Everyone acted selfishly.

They didn't follow police guidelines. They were asked to wait many times but still chose to climb wall and gate that causes stampede .Whatever happened shouldn't have happened..bt it's not players fault. Players didn't know what was happening outside..
