But I don't have much hopes from SRH for today's match

MI at their home ground seems strong

Their pace attack is lethal

I think Pat Cummins will be hughest run scorer for SRHsmiley37

MI will climb at 6th position & SRH will be at 10th position

bass match entertaining ho

But if results will be different & SRH wins I will be more than happy

Let's see

6.30pm local: Hello everyone and a warm welcome to our coverage of Match 33 between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad - two teams which are desperate for a turnaround after a difficult start to the season. But all isn't lost yet. Sunrisers arrive here having chased down a record target of 246 in their previous game, while MI pulled off a heist at the Kotla to lift their spirits.

MI vs SRH 2025 Playing 11 – Match 29 IPL Predicted XI, Squad & Team News

Team Watch

Mumbai Indians

Injuries/Availability: There is no news of any injury to any player.

Tactics & Matchups: Rohit has not survived the Powerplay in each of the five innings he batted so far. Only de Kock (six times) has been dismissed more often than Rohit in this phase. What's more, the India captain will be up against two bowlers - Pat Cummins and Mohammed Shami - who have had the upper hand against him in T20s. Both are off-boil so far this season and it will be a good opportunity for Rohit to roar back into form and set the record straight.

Probable XII: Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Karn Sharma

SunRisers Hyderabad

Injuries/Availability: No news of any injury to any player. One who was injured, Adam Zampa, has been replaced.

Tactics & Matchups: Since marking his SRH debut with a whirlwind 47-ball unbeaten 106, Ishan Kishan's form has tapered off - with 30 runs in five innings since. Having spent seven years with MI, he knows both the conditions and the opposition well. He could be one to watch. "Obviously we would be foolish not to tap into some of that knowledge and understanding around the Mumbai mentality. He's a wealth of knowledge for myself and the rest of the coaches for this time," Vettori said. Harshal Patel enjoys a good H2H record over Rohit and Hardik, both of whom he has dismissed thrice in T20s off 29 and 13 balls respectively.

Probable XII: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Aniket Verma, Pat Cummins (c), Harshal Patel, Zeeshan Ansari, Mohammed Shami, Eshan Malinga, Jaydev Unadkat

Thanks for the tag Madhuri smiley27

May the best team win and brings us points at least today smiley36

There are high expectations of a run-fest at the Wankhede today with two power-packed batting lineups involved. We had 430 runs being scored in the previous match at this venue between MI and RCB. Let's find out what the pitch is looking like...

A successful defence of a total of 111. A Super Over thriller. That's what we have seen in the last two games, so what does IPL 2025 have in store for us today?

Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad, two teams with championship heritage, one with four players who have captained India, one that reached the final last year. both teams off to a struggling start, and getting caught in the wrong end of the table with the tournament close to reaching the halfway mark, and both teams looking to launch a comeback trail. Today they face off at the high-scoring Wankhede Stadium on the backs of thrilling wins. Hello, I am Abhimanyu and I will be joined Shashank Kishore later in the evening as we bring you all the action from the 'city that never sleeps'.

The game today will be played on Pitch No. 6 at the Wankhede, which was the same one used in Mumbai Indians' only home win so far, against KKR, where they bowled the visitors out for 116 before completing the chase with 43 balls to spare. Our correspondent Matt Roller got to the ground rather early in the evening and here's what he had to say: "Evening from Wankhede, warm afternoon on Marine Drive... looks like the same pitch as the one used for the KKR game which had plenty of juice in it, and there's still a healthy covering of grass on top. Game is a sell-out, as is Sunday's vs CSK."

As far as pitch dimensions go, when bowling from the North End, the square boundary to a right-handed batter's off side is 60 metres and on the leg side is 67 metres, and it's a 73m boundary down the ground.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma - the opening partnership that shook the league last year - have also been the cornerstone of SRH's two wins this season. And that begs the question - are Sunrisers Hyderabad too reliant on Travishek? S Sudarshanan, who is also at the ground today, digs deeper.
