If the overs are reduced, total will be less.

So we should get more time maybe till the no of overs are decided.

What about pts if match is cancelled becos of rain ?

If the match is cancelled after they tossed the coin or before they completed any form of contest (reduced overs or full overs), we will get only toss points.

In case of a reduced over contest or 20 over contest we will get points for all categories.

Good news! Covers are being removed and some of the players have started doing their drills on the field.

Sai Sudharsan: Heartbreaking loss last game, but we learnt a lot from those situations and hopefully we get better in such situations today. The transition from all the phases (talking about converting starts into a bigger one) has to happen in the right way and I have been working on it in the nets as well, yesterday I have had a chat with Gary Kirsten and Nehra as well. The bowling unit has been doing really well and we have a very good match-up today. Shubman (Gill) is doing captaincy for the first time, he is getting to learn a lot and it will be a very good challenge for him.

The cover on the square is also coming off now. Another sign that the rain might have relented and that we might not be too far away from the toss

Jos Buttler: The feeling is great in the group, lots of different individuals standing up and playing well for the team throughout the four games has been the key for our success. The spinners Ashwin and Chahal, they have been fantastic in this tournament for a long time and Boulty with the new ball. We got lot of things covered, but it counts for nothing today we need to turn up and put our best foot forward and play a good game of cricket. Have a very good relationship with Sanju (Samson) I played with him for a long time here and there's a nice level of trust there and trying to help out if I can and where I can.
