Long before Jayadeva's Gīta-Govinda, there was Harivaṃśa 48.14-17:

Sāgarāḥ samakampanta celuś ca dharaṇīdharāḥ

Jajvaluś c'āgnayaḥ śāntā jāyamāne jan'ārdane

Śivāḥ saṃpravavur vātāḥ praśāntam abhavad rajaḥ

Jyotīṃṣi ca prakāśanta jāyamāne jan'ārdane

Anāhatā duṃdubhayo devānāṃ prāṇadan divi

Ākāśāt puṣpa-varṣaṃ ca vavarṣa tridiv'eśvaraḥ

Gīrbhir maṅgala-yuktābhiḥ stuvanto Madhu-sūdanam

Maharṣayaḥ saGandharvā upatasthuḥ sah'Āpsarāḥ

The oceans quaked, and the mountains shifted, and extinguished fires reignited when the agitator of people was being born. Pleasant winds blew, the dust settled, and the stars shone when the agitator of people was being born. Without being beaten, the celestials' drums resounded in heaven, and the lord of the triple heaven rained a rain of flowers from the sky. Praising the subduer of the Madhu clan with auspicious and appropriate speeches, the great sages attended with the Gandharvas and Apsarases.

Best Janmāṣṭamī wishes to everyone!

These two words always make everyone remember Lord Krishna.Mohana is the name of lord Krishna and murali is the favourite toy of lord Krishna. On the auspicious day of Janamashtami people worship lord krishna. This festival is a vibe itself.

Mohana Murali is so enchanting and exquisitely penned.....thoughts, imagery, expressions all merge into a linguistic delight and writing transforms to become phenomenal literature, well done Madi!!smiley32

Your writings n stories are always top notch and I am a big fan but your Krishna stories, whether earlier or this one are in the realm of pristine art.

Kojiro Tomita had once averred, that art is a tryst, for in the joy of it, maker and beholder meet and this is the purity and exultation your Krishna writings give to the reader! Krishna stories are endless, penned by writers since time immemorial but as Proust said, " The real voyage of discovery consists in not seeking new landscapes but having new eyes." This is a recurrent n underlying feature of your Krishna stories, you write from a different angle each time, that bind us in a spell and like a sorcerer you must continue unabatedly doing so, spread the magic of Krishna in your incredible style!!
