Arjun smiled at her and pulled her up..She waited to hear…How many times you fell…but he did not say it. She could feel it through his eyes.

Arjun gently turned her back and walked towards the Asan..

She sat and cuddled herself into her long pallu..the winterwinds are chilling up the body.

Arjun took off his Uttariya and covered her shoulders.She looked embarrassed and tried to take it off.

You need it..she said ..He cut her short..I don’t..I can bear with chilled winds.

Panchali could not help but stare at his perfect physique that stayed intact even at this phase of life.

She observed the maids who are in attendance a little away from them,having their eyes stuck on him..She got up took his uttariya and placed it on his shoulder..he was amused..his fireborn is still intolerant and he knew the reason.

Satya quipped as soon as she entered…Woh..still looking so much in love you two..her comment made Krishna laugh,Arjun,knitt his brow and Panchali bit her lip in embarrassment.

Arjun asked her straight ..Still? I am not supposed to love my wife now? What do you mean?

Satya teased him further..ofcourse you can but accept it and do as you wish..”

Krishna took Panchali by hand and asked Arjun to take Satya for a walk down the shore. She still want to have the feel of moonlight..he quipped.

Panchali looked at the two walking away with brisk steps.

Krishna teased..,Did I send him away to make you upset?

Panchali answered sharply..You need not send him Govind..Destiny always takes him away from me.

Krishna patted on her head and said…Still the same Krishnaa…I thought you must have become serene and reconciled to..he stopped abruptly..

Suddenly they saw Sahadev coming towards them on horse back. Eldest asked you all to take rest as early morning itself festivities will start..he told Krishna..who nodded in approval.

Arjun escorted her to her chamber that was adjacent to Satya and Krishna’s rest house.

Malini is waiting for her and stood up …I will bring hot milk for you princess….Rajkumar Sahadev told me to give you medicine with milk. She hastily walked past Arjun..who is observing his wife keenly.

.Years Of physical and mental strain made her vulnerable and weak. She is too delicate and thin..though still looks strikingly beautiful..

Arjun took the milk and Malini understood and left.

Panchali who went inside to change her clothes looked at him surprised…Go to Chitra now. She may need you to discuss anything. Your son’s marriage Arjun..You need to go..she said avoiding his gaze.

Chitra slept already….She won’t like to wake up till midnight .saying so Arjun approached her gave the aushadhi and stretched the milk glass..Panchali took a sip and nodded her head…No more milk for me..I want to sleep..she lied on her couch and closed her eyes..

Lovely update, never get tired of reading these conversations between the four. Panchali possessive as always and Govind/Satya as expected at their teasing best.

Third quarter of the night. Every one is fast asleep..but

Two Krishnas are still active ..seriously conversing ,walking by the shore.

Are you sure..your wife slept by now? Krishna asked with a teasing tone. Arjun smiled with confidence. Yes. She did. I walked out only after checking her in deep sleep. What about Satya? He cornered Krishna.

She was tired..Travelled all the day..so..

Arjun stopped and looked at him thoughtfully ..Why do I feel that this will be our last meet?

Krishna hesitated for a second and said….Parth…this is the last in this life..but we will have a new begining as I told you before. We have many births before. I remember all but you did not. Krishna pressed Arjun’s hand affectionately.

Arjun shrugged his shoulders..Yes.you said the same on that day when you delivered…

Panchali looked into the mirror.,Her red tilak and her red sindur complemented her red saree. She did not apply the red Latuka Ras to her lips..

Not necessary..your lips are naturally red..Arjun commented standing behind her,placing his arms round her shoulders. Panchali gazed into his hazel eyes and asked curiously..Where did you go last night? To Chitra?

Arjun laughed and replied..You did not sleep? Still spying on me? He asked her and she blushed.

She waited for his answer but he is too absorbed in worshipping her dazzling beauty.

Panchali stopped him in time before he bend down to touch her lips.

Arjun..Pragati stayed back in Hastinapur in the pretext of attending on Priyamvadha Masi. I am worried. Why is she so reluctant to attend the marriage? She will turn into an ascetic..I am sure. Panchali’s voice broke up before she complete her sentence.

Arjun wiped the tear drop that stayed like a pearl at the corner of her eye..Krishnaa..She won’t renounce marriage related things in life. I won’t let her do so. If necessary I will take Madhav’s help but Oragati won’t be an ascetic….Arjun placed his chin on her head and closed his eyes. Of late he is also disturbed thinking of Pragati..

Satya entered followed by Krishna and chuckled….Arjun…giving final touches to her beautiful get up?

so Draupadi is still her jealous wifey mode. But this is not fair arjun should reply to her. Or maybe Krishna will

also how can this be their last meeting. As far as I remember they do meet up just before Krishna leaves His body as well na.
