CHAP 2
Everyone turned, to see five tall men standing there. One who portrayed calmness and serenity, authority being obvious; one who was well-built, tall and broad-shouldered, a warrior; one who had beauty in him, his sharp eyes spoke of an immense concentration and focus, which were right now lit up with joy, seeing Krishna; a very handsome man, one who probably is renowned for beauty; and a man, who seemed silent of disposition, and has an intellectual nature. The Pancha Pandavs had arrived!
Srutha teasingly nudged Shreya, who glared at her.
"Kid, look. Dharmaraj is here", said Srutha, mirth in her eyes,
"Shut up", hissed Shreya. "Kanha Bhai is here"
"I did not know that", said Srutha gasping, giggling at her best friend's glare. She turned around to see Ramya, who was staring at one of the Pandavs with a dreamy look. Krishna, noticing the look on the Sena's faces, stepped closer to them, so as to know what was happening.
"Ramya Di?", asked Proteeti."Ramya Di?"
"Ramyaaa", whispered Shivani, in a sing-song voice.
"Eii Arjun-priya!", said Srutha, nudging Ramya hard on the ribs.
"Ow! Srutha, why?", whisper-yelled Ramya.
"Arjun-priya?", asked Krishna, from near them, eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Pochu!", muttered to Shreya, turning to see Shivam, who was smirking at Anokhi and Sumi.
"Srutha, I am going to..", suddenly becoming silent.
A dark beauty had entered the room. She was exqusitely beautiful, her expressive eyes looking everywhere, lighting up seeing Krishna. Next to her, a fair beautiful woman stood; she was as white as snow, her eyes the same colour as Krishna. On the other side of the dark beauty stood another fair woman, with a shapely body. Her eyes expressed calmness in them.
"Lola", said Janaki, "the Hexagon is here"
"Yes", said Lola excited.
Mili turned to Srutha and said, "Bhabhi, look. Two of me is coming"
The two of them started giggling. Krishna looked at them and raised His eyebrow, in askance.
"Uffo. This Govind!", said Mili.
"Bhrata knows all, yet He questions", said Charvi, from behind them.
"Well, He is also natkhat Charvi", said Srutha.
"What are you all planning?"
Arijit's voice sounded from behind.
"Nothing Bhaiya", said Charvi. "But Shivam Bhaiya is. Look at that smirk. Poor Sumi and Anokhi"
Suddenly, they saw Trina whisper something to Shivam.
"Gone is the case", said Srutha and Mili, together.
Shivani, who was standing next to them, shushed the two of them.
Shivani was lost in the beauty of Panchali.
"Vaani, that is Subhadra on one side of Panchali, and on the other side is Devika", said Srutha. "Well, Devika is guess work, but that is Subhadra"
"You are right", came a voice from behind them.
The two of them turned, only to come face to face with Rukmini and Satyabhama.
"How did you guess?", asked Satyabhama.
"Well, we have read about Samragyi's and Devi Subhadra's descriptions, and I guessed that that was Devi Devika", said Srutha.
"I see", said Rukmini. "And you know which of the Pandavs are who?"
"Yes", said Shivani, going on to point out who is who.
"If you will excuse me, I have to go check on Ramya", said Shivani, hurrying away from there.
Srutha was left alone with the two queens of Shri Krishna. Suddenly, a third queen walked upto them. Ah. Jambavathi had also joined them. Srutha looked around for Janaki and Ayesha. Where were they?
Anokhi came upto Srutha, and asked, "Dazzling doll, can we prank Shivam Bhaiya?"
"Always", said Srutha, smirking wickedly.
"You prank?", asked Jambavathi.
"She pranks all the time, my Bha",said Ayesha, coming upto them.
"Jam", said Srutha, rolling her eyes at Ayesha.
Srutha almost giggled at the looks of confusion on the three queens' faces, when she felt Ayesha nudge her. Sh turned and saw Arijit looking at Draupadi with a look of awe and reverence. She smirked at Shivam, who had also noticed it. Their brother was in for teasing soon.
"Jyesht Bhaiya", said Shri Krishna. "Majhle Bhaiya! Paarth! Nakul! Sahadev!"
"Subhadra! Panchali! Devika!", said Dau.
There was happy greeting from the two brothers to the Pandavas and their wives.
"Panchali", said an excited Satyabhama, rushing to Draupadi, as Subhadra was hugging her two elder brothers.
"Satya", said the excited Queen back, hugging her best friend to her tightly.
Srutha's happiness knew no bounds. Seeing two of her favourite women hugging each other, and behaving like giggly teenagers was beautiful to watch.
After all the greetings were done, everyone settled down to talk.
Shivani and Arijit were in a discussion on the amazing character of Panchali, Ramya was mooning over Arjuna, Mili was still mooning over Lakshman, Janaki over her favourite quartet. Srutha and Proteeti were doing their best to calm down and not go into a Kanha! Mode. Shivam was concocting evil palns with Trina, Anokhi and Sumi doing the same. Charvi was excited to meet Devi Urmila and talk to her. Lola turned to Shreya and Meena, sighing at the Sena, when she saw Shreya also lost. Disturbed, she and Meena looked around, and saw that Shreya was gazing at Dharmaraj Yudhistir. Lola turned to look at a now positively mischiveous Srutha, and she shook her head.
"Srutha, don't be evil", whispered Lola.
"I am not", said Srutha. "Just natkhat"
"Okay, I am worried now", said Meena.
"Meena,I promise. Only natkhat, not evilness", said Srutha, smirking, walking towards Anokhi and Sumi, her mind full of ideas.
"Oh Lord!", said Shivam suddenly, excited.
"What happened Shivam?", asked Janaki.
"We have wifi here. And it's working", said Shivam, typing furiously on the phone.
A ping was heard from Srutha's bag. She opened and saw that Shivam had sent her a text saying, 'We have Wifi!'
"We do!", said Srutha excited.
"Now we can go online from here", said Janaki, excited. "Guys, imagine the talks? And our CC still needs to be active"
"Han Janaki Akka", said Ayesha.
Suddenly, a flash of white light and...
Four girls appeared.
"Sayee!"
"Anu!"
"Lakshmi!"
"Gowri!"
Srutha rushed to hug Lakshmi and Gowri, while Mili rushed to hug Anu, and Shivi rushed to hug Sayee.
"Didi, are we in the past?", whispered Gowri, blinking at the people in the room.
"Yes we are", said Srutha.
"Is that Shri Krishna? My inspiration?", asked Lakshmi. "And and, is that Arjuna?"
"SiyaRam. SiyaRam", whispered an excited Anu and Gowri.
Sayee looked around, super excited, seeing all the people, eyes filled with awe.
And a new round of introductions took place.
"Can I ask you all a question?", asked Gowri. Lakshmi and Srutha exchanged fond smiles.
"Of course", said Shri Ram, making Gowri melt as her favourite answered her.
"What all has happened in your life?", asked Gowri.
"You are all from the future. You know our future as well", said Shri Krishna. "Shri Ram?"
Srutha and Shreya exchanged a glance, and quickly looked away.
"Our 14 year vanvaas is over, Ravan has been destroyed, and Ram Bhaiya and Sita Mata are now ruling Ayodhya", said Lakshman, on a nod from his brother.
"Jyesht Bhaiya just become the Samrat of entire Bharatvarsh", said Shri Krishna.
"Ah. I see", said Janaki, exchanging a glance with the entire Sena.
Shri Krishna smiled sadly, which no one but Shriman Balarama noticed. The two brothers looked at each other, and the loving look on Shriman Balarama's face made Shri Krishna smile normally.
"We have two people called Anu now", said Shivam. "What are we calling each of them?"
"Anu and Sen for young Anu here", said Mili patting her head.
"And you are what, forty?", asked Sumi.
"Tha Bhabhi! Sumi is being mean to me", said Mili, whining slightly.
"You asked for it, laadli", said Srutha, laughing at Mili's cute face.
"Bhabhiii!", pouted Mili.
"Is that pout supposed to move me? Of all people?", asked Srutha.
"What do you mean by that?", asked Lakshman, making Mili find the ground very interesting.
"They call it the 'Srutha pout'", said Janaki, rolling her eyes. "Sru has that pout to perfection"
"I learnt from the best", said Srutha, smirking at Shivam, who understood her meaning. He smirked back at her.
"She also uses her puppy dog eyes", said Arijit. "And gets things done for herself"
"You all make me sound so evil", said Srutha. "I am such an innocent girl"
"Innocent? As if", scoffed Lola.
"I am", said Srutha.
"You only started the Roo-Bha-Jam thing", said Ayesha, mock glaring at her friend.
"Technically, Janu only did", said Srutha. "When we were discussing our TV show"
"You said Roo, Bha and Jam, Sru", said Janaki.
"Yeah well, I was in a weird mood that day", said Srutha, shrugging.
"And on top of that, she is very natkhat", added Shreya.
"Natkhat?", asked Krishna, eyes twinkling.
"I am not natkhat", said Srutha.
"You are!", said all the Sena members together.
"No one loves me", said Srutha, pouting.
"I do Sru", said Lakshmi, hugging her.
"Yayy! Lakshmi loves me", said Srutha, hugging back her friend.
"So, what exactly is this Roo, Bha, Jam thing?", asked Satyabhama, curiosity shining.
"It is", started Ayesha, causing Janaki to nudge her, silencing her.
"Tell me", asked Satyabhama.
"That's what we three sisters call each other", said Srutha. "See, in this discussion we had, we realised how we would play three sisters perfectly. So, Janu being the eldest, is our Roo Di. Me being the second eldest, am Bha, and Aish, being the baby, is our Jam who we fuss over"
"That sounds familiar to me", said Shri Krishna, smirking with Dau.
"Janu, the two natkhats know", said Srutha, in a whisper.
"When do they not?", asked Janaki, sighing.
"So, who met who first?", asked Rukmini. "In you three"
"Janu and Aish, then me", said Srutha, suddenly realising the irony of the situation. They play Rukmini, Satyabhama and Jambavathi respectively in Mahabharat roleplay, and they also met that way. Looking at Janaki and Ayesha, she realised they had reached the same conclusion.
"Janu Di", said an excited Pro.
"Pro?", asked Jananki, affectionately.
"We are actually in Dwaraka", she said.
"Why? Have you all wanted to come to Dwaraka before?", asked Dau.
"Always", said Proteeti, with a dreamy look on her face.
"Who hasn't?", added Anokhi, smiling.
"So, how did you all get to this time?", asked Rajkumar Arjuna, smiling at all the IF members. All of them turned to look at Ramya, who was still dreamy eyed.
"Me? Why?", asked Ramya.
"You haven't spoken. At all", said Srutha, very innocently.
"I..", turning to look at the eager faces, she turned back to the smirking Sena and glared.
Taking a deep breath, Ramya explained the incidents of the day, and how they had all landed in their predicament.
"And you guys?", asked Srutha, turning to Sayee, Anu, Lakshmi and Gowri.
"I was just sitting and typing in my laptop, and suddenly, this white light appeared, and brought me here", said Gowri. The other three answered the same.
"There has to be a reason", said Janaki, wondering what that is.
"Janu, don't think too much. Pay attention to the surroundings", said Srutha, slightly teasing.
"Srutha, what is with the natkhat today?", asked Lola.
"Natkhat? Who?", asked Srutha, her too-innocent face raising suspicions.
"Srutha, are you always like this?", asked Dau.
"Like what?", asked Srutha, turning to look at Dau.
"Natkhat?", asked Dau.
"Dau, you too?", asked Srutha, pouting. "I am not natkhat. Your anuj on the other hand is"
"Am I now?", asked Krishna, eyes twinkling.
"He is", said Dau, shaking His head.
"Aren't you also natkhat Dau?", asked Sayee.
"I may be, but Kanha is way worse", said Dau, laughing.
"Laadli, don't keep staring at Lakshman. His Mila won't like it", whispered Srutha to Mili.
"Don't keep staring at Govinda. His Bhama won't like it", said Mili, retorting back.
"Everyone is staring at Him or Raghuveer. What difference does it make?", answered Srutha.
"Bhabhi!", said Mili, slapping Srutha slightly on the arm.
"What are this Bhabhi and Nanad arguing about?", asked Dau.
"They are always arguing", sighed Shivam.
"You also always are", said Srutha and Mili, together.
"I am not", said Shivam.
"Are too", said Srutha. "We are the epic trio! We will be together only"
"Epic trio?", asked Ram, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes", said Mili. "We write about Sarayu and Surilee, as well as Vijay and Meera"
The Sena burst into laughter hearing it.
"Who are they?", asked Krishna.
"Lord, it's better you didn't know. These three can be incorrigible at times", said Lola.
"Han Dwarakadheesh!", added Shreya. "Especially Srutha"
"What did I do? Why are you dragging me into it?", asked Srutha.
"You are full of mischief", said Shreya.
"Yeah well", said Srutha, shrugging.
"You accept that you are mischiveous?", asked Rukmini.
"It would have come out at some point", said Srutha. "They still don't know what mischief I can cause"
"Tell us Bhabhi", said Mili.
"Watch and see, laadli. Watch and see", said Srutha.
"Dau! Come with me. I just remembered, I have a letter to send to an important king", said Krishna. "Three, in fact"
The Ashtabharya and Revathi exchanged a look. The smirk on both the brothers faces never boded well. The Sena looked at each other, and Proteeti almost made her way to Krishna. Srutha and Lola pulled her back, stopping her.
"Dii", said Proteeti. "I want to go with him"
"You can't Pro", said Lola. "His own wives are not going, how can you?"
"He is my Patidev", said Proteeti.
"On second thought, we will stay here, and take care of our letters later", said Dau, smiling innocently at His wife, and settling down again.
Krishna studiously ignored the looks Rukmini and Satyabhama shot at Him, and settled down for a talk.
"It is not fair that you know our story, but we don't know anything about you", said Bhim.
"Arya is right", said Draupadi. "Tell us about yourselves"
"Wouldn't that take ages to tell?", asked Mili.
"Can we instead, Samragyi, tell random facts about each other?", asked Janaki.
"Of course", said Draupadi, and everyone settled to talk.
