Thank you so much for the dialogue, Swati! I'll probably work on this idea tomorrow, let's it turns out how it looks in my mind. That's always the problem with sigmaking. It looks one way in your mind, and another way on screen. 🤣

Nice post, Swati! Just saw it now and am trying to imagine how the real Ramji looked. If we are so appreciative of how Gurmeet looked as Ram, imagine how much more handsome and striking the actual Ramji looked. I don't think it's possible to find any human being to do full justice to the beauty of the Lord. After all, it's supposed to be unparalleled.

I know the lyrics of this song are SO overused by us in making Ramayan creations, but they are really so perfect for the Sita-Ram virah sequence. This song really sends chills through my body every time I hear it, and I imagine the Sita Haran sequence of Ramayan in my mind. This moment of Debina's in Ramayan is one of my favorites! The way she leans against a tree while sobbing her heart out for Ramji really touches my heart. 🥺 Debina did complete justice to Sitaji's role with her amazing and spot on expressions. I also love this moment of Ramji. We have a lot of great shots of Gurmeet's saddened expressions as he portrays Ramji's devastation at the loss of Sita. This is one of many!
I made this siggie in three shades as I couldn't choose which one to post, lol.

the way you have merged these two scenes.. it's beautiful.. looks like it is the same tree... :'(

i agree with you.. this scene of Sita ji leaning against the tree is really heart wrenching...

and there is one more where she is holding this tree...

haha.. yes you have used this lyrics many times.. lol..

but it really is a beautiful song.. i esp love its second stanza... :)

this song gives me goosebumps...

I wonder how long Ram and Lakshman traveled in the jungles before reaching Kishkindha. We know for sure that Sitaji was in Lanka for a total of 10 months, and out of those 10 months, 4 months were wasted in inactivity due to the monsoons after Sugriva's rajyabhishek. So where did the other 6 months go?

How long did Ram and Lakshman travel on foot to reach Kishkindha?

How long did the vanar sena search for Sita on foot after the monsoons, before Hanuman reached Lanka?

We know Hanuman was in Lanka for only 1 1/2 day, and to travel there it took him only a few hours, right? After Hanuman returned to Kishkindha, Ramji and the vanar sena travelled to the banks of the ocean right away, but how long did it take them? They all travelled on foot, so it might have taken them a month or two, or maybe some weeks.

It took 8 days to build the bridge and 11 days to battle with Ravan's army, so all the significant time of Sita's abduction had to have happened before then.

I wonder if Valmiki Ramayan has these details. Does anyone know?
