I wanted a larger than life war theme which sums up the story of Mahabharat- Siddharth Kumar Tewary

Ismail Darbar creates a special war theme for Star Plus Mahabharat As is well known that producer and creative director of Swastik productions Siddharth Kumar Tewary is leaving no stone unturned to make his dream project a blockbuster.

He has ensured that they have all the big names from the various walks of life to be associated with the epic. The latest we hear is that the war theme for Mahabharat is composed by none other than Ismail Darbar who has given Indian Cinema some of the most melodious tracks. Commenting on this wonderful association, producer/ creator Siddharth Kumar Tewary said, I wanted a larger than life war theme which sums up the story of Mahabharat. I could not think of anyone but Mr. Ismail Darbar, he has his own unique sound and the kind of effort he put in is commendable.

The theme track is haunting and I believe it will last foreverTune-in to Mahabharat starting from 16th September 2013 at 8:30 pm only on Star Plus.

Just read news.

Mahabharat is dream project of Star Plus.

They are preparing for this show from last 4 years.

Even they had changed production house before selection of Swastik Production.

CEO of Star India,Mr. Uday Shankar have told that ,"You will forget all after watching this show.This is grand show.You have never watched this type of show in your whole life.This is mega show."

They have sent 100 crores for this show...!!!!!!!!!!

Like Big Bollywood Budget movie.

Star Plus had surveyed specially in the society that people love about Indian Old Culural stories or not then after they have said YES to show.

The show will very short of only 128 Episodes...But not dragging show.You can get QUALITY not need of QUANTITY.

Show will closed in March,2014.

They have spent 1 crore for a single 20 minutes episode...!!!

And so...no compromise in Quality matter.After all this is STAR PLUS.

Every character & costume will be memorable.

And As per 1 famous Chitralekha magazine ... Mohit Raina can play role of Shiva in this dream Mahabharat because in this show...Shiva will have only guest appearance.

So, Get ready for this dreamy show.I can't wait now.😳😳

Thanks for sharing all those articles!

OMG, they are spending 100 crores on this show. 😲 I am really excited. No newer versions of Mahabharat has become popular in the 21st century after BRC's so the younger generation is in great need of a well made show on Lord Krishna. I hope this show does it justice, I have a lot of expectation for it now!

Not like DKD - Mahadev...dragging the show. They will give perfect.Think Positive.

Earlier i was also in tension that only 6 months but now not problem.

This will be written with golden letters in history.

128 20-min episodes? 😲 That seems a bit less to me, but I will give them the benefit of doubt until I see it! 😊 Perhaps they can manage their time well and not rush the show either.

Anything is better than dragging it! I'd rather see a rushed show than a dragged one. I'm really eager to see a well made show on Lord Krishna. Ramayan has been done several times already, and most of the versions are well done since the epic is well known to people, but after BR Chopra's Mahabharat, no one has been able to capture that magic again on screen. All attempts have become flops, including Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat, Sagar Pictures' Dwarkadheesh, and so on. Devon ke dev Mahadev used to be really good also, but now it has become like other shows, dragging its tracks with no clear storyline in sight.

Mahabharat will be a refreshing viewing experience, I really hope it will. 😊
