And here goes some Arjun/Draupadi stuff... the actress seems like a great fit for the role, I'm really optimistic as far as she's concerned:

Wowzies... thanks ☺️ Now I'm feeling kinda bad, should I have made them stand further apart or something 😆 j/k... thanks again sweets, I had a lot of fun with the powerful solo promo stills they released. I kinda agree on Arjun; for now I'm just putting it to the fact that I'm used to seeing him with a mustache and hoping for the best 😆 I actually had my fingers crossed that Gurmeet would play the role because he can portray both the temper and the devotion that is required of Arjun at different points in the story, and I wanted Mouni to play Draupadi. And Vishal as Krishna, and Mohit as Bhim. But oh well, enough of my dreamcasting; the fact that they have a classic Doordarshan era TV star training the cast they did choose gives me hope that they'll draw the best performance possible out of everyone. Shakuni, Draupadi, and Satyavati seem like perfect choices already.

I sure can, soon as I get home around 6ish this evening :D But I made them in another coloring that made the file size too big for tumblr so I'll show you that first and let you pick whichever.

Lol, don't worry. Although Arjun and Draupadi are mytho characters, they weren't the super "ideal" and "godly" characters like Lakshmi and Vishnu's incarnations, so it doesn't look too "wrong". 😉 Now if you had made a Ram-Sita sig or Rukmini-Krishna sig like that, I'd have been horrified. 🤣 ROFL yes, maybe it's the mustache-less Arjun that doesn't make Shaheer look convincing, but if he does well enough, I'm sure we'll be able to overlook it. Here's an interesting fact for you (if you didn't already know it, which you probably did). Ram and Lakshman were both supposed to have long beards and mustaches by the end of vanvaas, just like other sages. 😉 But imagine seeing that on TV, viewers would go ballistic, and I'm not sure either Arunji or Gurmeet would have looked quite as handsome with a beard and mustache. 😆

Even I was hoping Gurmeet would do Arjun, but I kinda knew he wouldn't since he said in an interview that Punar Vivah would be his last television soap. He's really looking into Bollywood and already filmed two Punjabi movies which are set to release this month. He doesn't want to do any "long term" projects anymore, but since Mahabharat is said to be a short term project, it shouldn't have been a problem. It would have been lovely to see Vishal as Krishna again (though I love Saurabh too so I'm not disappointed), and yeah Mouni would have been really great as Draupadi! I would have liked to see Debina in that role too, either of them would have been a great choice, but this new girl looks convincing enough. I never considered Mohit as Bheem, but I can definitely see how he'd be perfect for the role.

@Lola,

Your MB avis are really gorgeous! I'm so glad that this show is bringing back so many old members to this forum. Just for that reason I already love it. ❤️ The animation in this show is really professional and amazing. It reminds me of the high-tech look that Hollywood movies have. This clip in particular is fantastic, definitely my favorite animation in this entire show! Your coloring also does it 100% justice.

I only hope that this show does as much justice to the epic. So far, the actors and technology look near perfect, but if the script is weak, they won't be able to interest too many viewers. I have my fingers crossed!
