🥳🥳TASK #1!🥳🥳

Rules:

1. Each team must come up with an original short story, no longer than 2000 words (can be much shorter if you want) that centers around your jodi.

2. The story cannot be a fanfiction (since many here feel uncomfortable writing fanfics about Gods), it must be an original story with original characters, but the theme of the story should be devotional and love for God.

For example, if you are Team GauriShankar, you can write a story about a young girl who is being teased in school. She prays to Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi and is blessed with the courage to stand up to her peers. Something like that.😳

Again, the idea for the story is totally up to you, whether you want to write about love, tragedy, money, power, etc....but in the end the message it conveys should be devotional and that love for God can overcome anything.😍

3. I know none of you will do this, but just saying anyway: no profanity in your story please, and do not copy anyone else's work. The story must be appropriate for all age groups, so no intimate/intense scenes that may be inappropriate for young children.

4. Each team has to turn in only ONE story...so the whole team works together to write it.

5. The story will be judged on how well it portrays divine love, not how well it is written since there are members of many age groups participating. Do not worry about all that grammar/spelling business, just have fun writing the story.😆

6. The story will not be judged by me, but by a panel of judges from other forums who cannot show bias towards a particular member or time, so it will be fair judging.😃

7. Deadline: February 15, 2011....I know it is short notice, but if we want to get the tasks done with before Valentine's day, we need to move fast.😆

Hmmm, maybe you can talk to your teammates and see if they have time to write😳, or.....if this is too hard to do in such short notice, I can just change the task.

Our deadline is 12th Feb, right? then if we post the story at night of 12th (i.e, the morning of 13th in India), then will it be accepted? Actually I need a time for planning & also for discussing with my teammates.

Guys,

I extended the date till FEB 15th!😃 It's fine if Valentine's day passes....people will have fun only if they have time to do the tasks, right? So we'll play the other tasks afterwards too.😆

Jaanu, I ll check with my teammates if they need my help but I am just so caught up with tests all week. Actually, all this month, then next month and then first week of April 🤪 Every week, 2/3 tests

Hey Guys,

I am sorry, but I think we all are sooooooooooooooo busy these days with our personal life that I feel we don't have enough time for this race. It's not only you, even I feel too busy to conduct this thing so I'm thinking of cancelling it. Both on IF and in real life, I'm just bogged down with sooooo many activities, so will you all feel angry if I cancel this race? I promise to do other easier contests/games like the Secret Santa we had during Christmas, but I think tasks and all are a bit too much for us right now.😳
