just a disclaimer it does become depressing but what she endures and her story is so inspiring! and some of the things she says about life are so true! I loved her throughout the film..her mother died and so did mine.. I felt closer to meera's character in that essence and also she was very stubborn in terms of her bhakti...na kuch krishna se aage dikhta tha ...but my fav parts are bhojraj//and when she leaves the palace of her inlaws...

more than anything her journey is something to admire..and the little acteress in that serial was freaking whipped topping + cherry on everything! she outdid any mytho actor i've seen thus far // maybe old ramayan sita as a close second.. but still even the older meera she was a wonderful actress but here's my shallowness again: i wish they found a prettier girl [rofl] ..i mean yeah she was a jogan and everything but hmm...u know what i mean..

the way you've just described, makes me wanna watch it right now, but can't😭! but I should get a brief respite from all these assignments this weekend and I will watch it for sure. btw, are the episodes uploaded on YT? and how many episodes are there in total? Because I've always heard heard about Meera the great devotee, but never got to know her detailed story!

@lola: I would love to share my thoughts and insights when I do watch the old ramayan. oh it is a great idea to dedicate a thread to great character.

lol..yeah aditi looked better for jsk..she suited that role..maybe for meera..ermm... debina's looks + aditi's acting = perfect rofl

and if you do end up watching it..i believe youtube has all the episodes..or else i'll find them for u rofl..im actually thinking to burn the episodes onto DVDs or is there a way i can find them in india 🤔..hmm..

India? if the show aired recently (ok, I live under a rock) then I don't think the DVDs would be out.

ah, now my shallow moment, I am not too fond of debina's looks (to put it mildly)

there are alot of episodes..i think the show ran from last july to early/late jan this year... i cried buckets at bhojraj and ending .... oh and if you do decide to watch meera later write ur thoughts here and i'llwatch it again to keep u company rofl..
