Exactly! Every week they have a sad story.
Too much of rona dhona. I am seriously fed up!

They are showing sob stories even about contestants not comfortable with sharing them like Revanth. Infact I feel none of the contestants are interested in sob stories but channel is doing it via judges.

I agree. Many contestants aren't comfortable with sob stories.

I think the only one comfortable is Khudabaksh.

They really must put an end to it.
Latest has been Sonu nigam missing his mother in two consecutive episodes!!

Wondering if next Roli Chadha will have a sob story!

Brace ur self for more sob stories as per latest promos.This show is for singing n the makers should keep it at that only or else audience will get frustrated.

Not surprised why there is a drop in trp each passing week. This show is more about sob stories and less about singing. Even in the promos, the sob stories are more highlighted.

Where are the promos for Shravan, Tajinder, Hardeep and Revanth? Is the channel promoting particular contestants?

Well said Chutty, this could be the reason for the drop in trp.

This time sob stories for mohit and malavika.

See some of us have seen these contestants in regional shows often and aware of their personalities. Some already have their break in movies and some doing well in career singing in concerts and functions.

So why these sob stories?

Also is there any contestant who is making a break in Indian idol as his/her first reality show without having any prior experience in other regional reality shows or break in movies?

Just when I thought some contestants many not have sob stories, the channel proves me wrong!!
Since only Tajinder, Sheavan and Hardeep are left without sob stories, expect it in the coming weeks..

I think Indian shows in general emphasize a lot on melodrama. The channels and PH seem to be under the wrong impression tht such things help with TRP's. Instead of sob stories why can't they show contestants preparing for their performances or their bonding offscreen?
