Antara's zara was awesomee 👏 👏 ..I listened to you tube and she sang with so much passion ....I think rahat saab could have given her 9 ...but 17 is a fantastic marks too ...sp coming from stalwarts in musical field 👏 ..
but she should sing more peppy numbers that can show her singing prowess too ... 😛

It pays to have political connections in our country. And if you are a babu's wife, its bliss time. Where did politics come in the midst of all this telly ghupshup…?
We would've normally looked the other way around, if the little snippet didn't come our way. A little birdie whispered in our ears about the latest prize - Sartaj-e-Junoon going to Malini from Maati Ke Lal, in this week's JUNOON.... KUCHH KAR DIKHAANE KA.
So we caught up with the IAS officer's wife to bask in the euphoric glow that she wanted us to share…
We got a total of thirty percent votes and I feel over whelmed about it. And I didn't expect the kind of support from UP. People appreciate good music. I am basically from UP, Lucknow, an area where folk music has not been all that famous but Bollywood is. I wanted to break that notion and now have this essence of fulfillment.
Other than Radio and Doordarshan, it is the first time that a commercial show has showcased folk music and good that it has come up with the concept. People are longing to listen to it and it was proven with the voting system. Having folk songs in a Bollywood film is an advantage and it has been proven in the past and nobody can deny the fact.
We are blessed with beautiful, well-known and powerful singers who have proven the world the essence of Folk music. Though I didn't expect the honor, I have learnt not to take success for granted which has made me believe in my potentials and continue with my good work.
But didn't the political connections come in handy? She chose to ignore the question and said, "My husband supports me in my music. The rest I would like to leave it to the audience."
Political connections or otherwise, Malini's voice captures the essence of the folk music. But, we @ Tellywatch are very wary of the voting system. Our comfort level lies in the judge's decision…

but my fav in the show (i dont watch is regularly..but whenver i have) is definitely malini 😛 what a powerful performer..m me being from up..understand the language n all..so enjoy it a lot more! she is amazing! 😃

well yeah i read that too..but she really deserves the votes..shez brilliant..she has participated in srgmp before when sonu nigam used to host it!😛
well she is a folk singer...so obviously u cant expect her voice to be perfect for melodious numbers..the same way i cant imagine antara singing a UP ka folk song..so they are all good in their own ways 😊
hmm yeah m voting for abhijeet..he deserves to win!
i want abhi,debo n rahul to be in the top 3..i wont mind harshit also..but please not toshi!
