He can create the mood of the song, even the half notes (komal sur - keys between saa – re, re – gaa, gaa- ma, called komal re, komal ga etc… they r impt 4 variations, alaap, flow of the song) r perfect n very clear (wot adnaan sami commented on…jo choti 2 harkatein hote hain wo clr hain) perfect pitch… high n low notes theek jageh par chorta hai (does not leave the ending notes incomplete)
• rounds off the last lyn or word (gives flow to song)

arijit of fame gurukul who was trained cud not sing this song n changed it - It's not that he couldn't sing but he couldn't memorize the lyrics .. there's a huge difference .. 😛 😉 there is a different tune n different scale in every line (diff to manage 4 even the best of singers)
the voice change in between was amazing spiritual feel…u get goose pimples when a singer hits perfect note

• esp the lower part.. " naa main moosa na main paaroha" very diff to sing

• "kho hi gaye hum to " – changed scale in middle of song beautifully…very difficult to do in the middle of a song..
  prashant was criticized 4 this by sonu nigam (went off key while changing scale midway thru a song)

missed the initial beat n took tym to pick up the song again coz – (this is impt.. he missed a beat but had 2 wait the whole lyn to get over before he cud start) ek gud singer agar beat miss kar de to uski majboori ho jaati hai ki wo sahi jagah ke liye wait kare… wo gaane ko kahin se bhi nahi uthaega kyun ki if u r a gud singer n a perfectionist u cannot do makeshift kaam..ek beat nahi sun paaya to puri line khatam hone ke baad hi catch karega… else the whole song will go wrong…taal galat pick ho jayega
• but wot ever he sang puri imandaari se sur aur taal ke saath gaaya… feelings bhi puri thi… u cud feel the pain in his voice
