And Javedji said " Why you chose Sonu Song" . If others are given to choose their TYPE OF SONG for e.g. why can't EMON chose. That is my question.

As for Ankita the world knows what she sings. HER VOICE DOES NOT sound like singing at all. That is for sure. SHE IS ONLY GIVING SOME JERK AT THE END OF THE SENTENCE AND A MOVE WHICH ARE WATCHED AND EJOYED BY ALL. AND SONY WANTS HER TO EARN MORE THATS ALL. SO THE JUDGES SUPPORTING HER AND CREATING FANS SUPPORT AND DIVIDE FANS TO EARN ONLY NOTHING ELSE. AT THE MOST SONY WILL HAVE AN ALBUM OF HER NOT FOR SINGING BUT DANCING MAY BE ABHIJIT WILL BE TAKEN IN. BUT WHO IS GOING TO BUY OR WATCH IT. THERE ARE ENOUGH OF MUCH BETTER DANCERS

judges asked why you chose sonu song

and i closed my eyes and heard the song, and i'm doing it from the first episode ii that when a good singer is singing i always tend to close my eyes and feel the song. till now i dint feel that emon has copying sonu.

emon is having a soft voice like sonu, and if he sings sonu's song he have to sing it like sonu's itself otherwise these biased judges will comment something else

if he use some harkats or some thing else these judges themselves will say he's overconfident he changed sonu's song

Every song can be sung differently, but the Music Director, while making the song, chooses to give it a certain feel, a certain style, a certain look and a certain attitude. He spends time with the singer in explaining the emotions of the song, besides what the words convey. It is this mood, this emotion, this feel that the original singer captures in his song and presents it and makes it immortal in our memories.

Ankita may not copy the original singer, but she isnt giving the same feel either.

In the last disco round, she took a classy cabaret number and made it sound like a cheap, guli ka chandni bar type song... she infused her typical earthy feeling into a classy song. As a viewer/ listener, I aborred it. It was akin to murdering a classic, not because she sang it differently, but because she attempted to change the mood of the song completely, which I do not think is right.

She sang that UP Bihar lootne wala song very well, completely her genre... very earthy, very rustic sensuality, completely her style... but thats how the original was sung and we all thought she sang very well. How about her Phir bhi dil hai hindustani - that has been by and far the most horrible and horrendous rendition of that song I have ever heard...

As a singer, she tries hard, she uses as many props as she can to disguise her weakness - her versatility in singing.

Well if u say it a performance, then its not she wanna dance and all! Actually item songs requires a mood, energy and such expressions which could match with the singing! and that what aNKIta do, thats why her performance is awesome..and obviously she has been singing so many songs in her own style which r differnt from original and i like her version betr, she has really a pop singer voice 😳

Everytime she comes to sing, I observe her keenly and I find that every single time, she has the same expression in her face. Every time, she would crinkle her eyes, she would make a pout... at least attempt a pout, again close her eyes partly, turn her face away from the camera in the same angle!!!!!

No doubt, she is a good performer on stage... but I dont think we can say she has good expressions to match her singing....

it can be classified into different genre, pop,folk,classical,film songs etc.

what's a pop singer voice - these so called ppop singers in india are struggling in bollywood to be recognised

some playback singers also done pop albums.

for singing first of all you should have good voice and singing ability which ankita lacks.

very true...everybody including judges know she is not versatile n somehow manages item n cheap songs with matka jhatkas 😡 😡 ...i really hope her elimination news is true so that we here in uk can party tonite 👏 👏 ...all we frnds are hoping we dont have to see her face again 👏 👏 👏

Yes right i fully agree. I too close my eyes and listen. He never ever sounded like Sonu, he has a Sonu like look so the judges must be feeling like that. No public is saying so. " if he use some harkats or some thing else these judges themselves will say he's overconfident he changed sonu's song " but when Ankita changed something she is confident, though that was taught by Amit which she never cared to mention in the show

even she had lataji's ayiye meheraban ion her list which is a very tough song, why she dint sing that because not only judges she also knows her singing capacity.

i support amit and i want him to win the competition. but why they dint ask him why he selecty dil kya kare, he alsways singing soft romantic songs, why he dint select yeh taara which is a very hard song with lot of breath control.

what about prashant he also chose the same genre then why only emon

RDburman round javedji said emon was good that also in a bad way that you have to find your own voice, we have one sonu here so we dont want emon.

before that also he had sung kishore kumar ooh majire that day they dint find he is copyiing sonu. he sang teri deewani, he sang disco song what happened only last 3 episodes he sang sonu songs so he copies sonu.

i had a respect to you javed ji as a very good writer,lyricist and a expereinced person, i loved your words, but from last one week it had gone i'm really sorry, now i dont have any respect to you as a person but still i love your works.

That reminds me, this was the song I was looking for, thats when I became a ceiling fan of this guy. That way "O maajhi re" - he was simply amazing.
