Good point! When it comes to Ankita - I feel the judges are blinded by her performances, and thus overlook the singing quotient for the most part.

and i also judges never asked her why she chose "sunidhi" song itself (they asked emon)

even she had lataji's ayiye meheraban ion her list which is a very tough song, why she dint sing that because not only judges she also knows her singing capacity.

i support amit and i want him to win the competition. but why they dint ask him why he selecty dil kya kare, he alsways singing soft romantic songs, why he dint select yeh taara which is a very hard song with lot of breath control.

what about prashant he also chose the same genre then why only emon

RDburman round javedji said emon was good that also in a bad way that you have to find your own voice, we have one sonu here so we dont want emon.

good points...it is evident that ALL of the contestants (and judges) are trying to find songs that will bring out the best in them. so don't just criticize ankita!

Right i agree with you. Though I too like Amit and want both Amit and Emon tocome upto top 2. All of them chose their type songs only but JAVEDJI DOES NOT WANT EMON TO WIN HE WANTS A WOMAN AND SO HE ADVISED VIEWERS TO VOTE YOUR FAVOURITE . HE SHOULD HAVE SAID AS A JUDGE TO VOTE THE BEST SINGER. SONY JUST WANT TO EARN MONEY ON A DANCING ALBUM WITH ANKITA AND ABHIJIT. WHO IS GOING TO SEE OR BUY THAT ????

HE SAID WE WANT EMON and NOT ANOTHER SONU. But everybody is trying their own genre . I have not seen versatality from anyone. Emon..singing Sonu's songs and High pitch songs...Amit singing Slow songs and Prashant also tries to sing slow songs. But i dont find anything wrong till the time they are showing their strengths in front of viewers.

Well the major diff betwn Emon n the other 3 is that Emon sounds exactly like Sonu....n Javed himself said that since the issue abt him trying to sound like Sonu has been raised for teh past 2 weeks.....he should have chosen a non- Sonu song to prove his point.

It was simple logic.....n I dont think Javed was wrong in pointing that out to him n not to the others....coz like I said....the issue here was not the genre of songs.....but his voice sounding exactly like Sonu

The problem with the Kal ho na ho song Emon sang was that if you closed your eyes and listened, it was EXACTLY like Sonu Nigam.
Whatever u say about Ankita and Amit they sing other singer's song but in their own style. Ankita may be choosing Sunidhi songs but she does not imitate Sunidhi and even for the Asha Bhosle song she did not try to copy Ashaji at all.
