...of your favourite contestant?

what's the first thing that caught your eye/ear? when was it? what made you sit up and take notice?

please include when you first heard of him/her and what made you like him/her

favourite contestant : amit paul (duh)
first heard/saw him on TV: first gala
song: In dino

details: i wasn't interested in II3 at all.skipped the auditions/theatre/piano rounds even though they were always on TV and other family members watched them. then one day, i came across the re-run of the first gala, and amit was singing the 'in dino' song. i got goosebumps listening to his heartfelt rendition, and i just couldn't get enough of it. i've been watching II3 religiously since then.

what's your story?

please don't hate on other contestants/fans while relating your tale =P

for me it was prashant...really humble and down to earth...there has been some sort of drama here and there from every single contestant...however prashant's been the most quietest of all in all this...no panga's no fasad's no faalto ki tension...plus he is very damn original...and has a clean voice and talafus are great...obv his health was down in the recent days and singing swung down a bit...but none the less prashant all the way... 😃

i fell in luv wid Emon...ever since the auditions ..first it was more sympathhy cuz he got sick during auditions 😭 ...den i relly liekd his and shifas jodi..both were such a cute couple. den the piano rounds i started lieking him even more. his awsum renditions liek Piya Re..O Majhi Re and Bijuria....in the paino n theatre rounds..i think he was the best singer who always got excellent comments from all the judges. On top of all dat....he wasss soooo cutee!! 😳 luved his confidence n prankish behaviour, his expressions n his mimicry was awsum too! By the time it was galas....I became a die hard fan of Emon!! 😃 😳

Parleen is my favorite 😳 Well the first time i noticed him was in the auditions promo of him singing teri deewani. i didn't know his name at the time but i loved his distinctive voice (it has a roughness to it which i personally like) not to mention i think he's incredibly handsome lol 😳 And later I found out he's punjabi like me which is only an added bonus (woo hoo! lol). and when he sang dil ne tumko in the piano rounds that pretty much sealed the deal for me lol. throughout the piano rounds and galas through all the background footage as well it was clear that he has a good heart as well...and he was close to all the contestants. just an all around good guy. and so i fell harder haha. I know he's not the best singer in terms of singing technically perfect (that's more like emon) but that was never why i liked his singing. Besides his distinctive voice, I also love the fact that when he sings I hear sooooo much sincerity. I'm not talking about sur here or the technical aspects of singing. People might not agree with me but he's one of the few singers on II3 who truly sings from his heart and it comes straight through his singing. It really touches your heart. And I think on his elimination a lot of people didn't just cry because it was sad he was leaving but i know a lot of people who weren't even his fans were so moved by his song (layi vi na gayee). You could just hear so much sadness in his voice and that made it that much harder 😭. And his exit was one of the most graceful ones. He left with a lot of dignity which made me respect him even more and i'm sure he won a lot of fans that day. ok anyway i've written WAYYYYY too much lol and i could even continue further but i'll spare you all. and for those of you who took the time to actually read this...thanks and i'm sorry if it bored you lol. 😳
