Yes, I agree with you completely. I would also like to add that the contestants don't have too much leeway in song choice. They are basically presented with a list from which they are asked to choose. Emon already mentioned this in his chat transcript, so I feel we should really judge the contestants on how well they performed in their respective songs, and understand that song choice is not always in their hands.

If that be the basis of judgment, Prashant is the best. He has performed excellent in each of the songs he was given so far.

i still cant believe that prashant is in top4. if he becomes indion idol, then one thing is sure for me that i will stop watching the future indian idols.

If you can't recognize how beautiful Prashant sings, then you have problem not with him, because he has been proven to be the best until now.
