prashants biggest problem is his pronounciation, i havent watched the judges comments, but just listening to the song, you can see where his flaws are, he pronounced many words which makes the song sound horrible like he said bemare for bemaar initially, koho for kaho, deewana, nazar he stresses on rrrrr etc. he puts stress very deep on the dee part and much more, i think its high time he needs to rectify this or he can be the next ouster 😕 😕 😕

PLEASE DONT BRING REGIONALISM IN THIS POST, I HAVENT OPENED THE POST FOR THIS. DONT PUT THE BLAME ON THAT.

i dont want this post to be filled with regionalism, if i see that then i would request mods to close it. thanks

Raunaq darling, hasn't Prashant come in your dream again? lol
Music has no language barriers. Diction doesn't have crucial effects too. Many successful English singers can't speak English fluently. They come from all parts of the world, where English is a second or third language. But they sing amazingly. You can learn a couple of words that you may find difficult to pronounce. And in recording, you will always have a chance to rectify. So, melody and tune is more important than diction, in my opinion.

rooprekha in fame gurukal had the same problem, from 1st gala to the last javed ji said the same comment to take care of her diction.

Hema chandra of SRGMP 05 also had diction problem, how many times jatin ji and himesh said it will affect his singing.

udit ji is singing south indian songs the diction is too much and we feel that he is destroying the language

if you are singing in any language the word pronounciation should be correct.

thanks for you honest reply. if i am a listener, if he continues singing in such a way, then there might be others who wont even buy his music, its a fact. there are people where hindi is not their main language but they make an effort to at least get the singing with correct pronounciation right and prashant in not an EXCUSE.

yeah i hope so too that he make an effort to correct it

Its your opinion. But You can't blame prashant for being a nepali and not speaking hindi properly. 😊

Yes, but he is striving to be a hindi singer, so he has to improve his diction. He can work in the Nepali/Bengali music industry. he has a bright future over there.

But, Bengali, south Indians or other regional mother-tongue singers everyone when they sing in hindi they have their diction right, even if their mother tongue is different. If pronunciation is not right, the song's essense is lost.

Emon, Amit, Puja, Chang they all have different mother-tongue but when they sing in hindi, in the case of Amit (in othe languages too), they make that effort.
