'Routes2Roots', a Delhi-based NGO, is organising the event, which will be telecast live from 2300 hrs on August 14, Pakistan's Independence Day, till 0100 hrs on August 15.

The star-studded event will be the first of its kind and telecast with the help of innovative utilisation of advanced telecommunication, sound engineering and broadcast technology on CNN-IBN, IBN-7, Sony Entertainment Television, CNBC, CNBC Awaaz, MTV, ARY -Digital and Doordarshan.

Tune into Sony TV at 2300 (IST) on Aug 14 ( 2 hour program) for live telecast

deepali n amit r chosen cuz this show is going to be there on sony..and obviously "in II" (note only in II 3)they r the best singers...!

just stating the obvious..no offence!

actually that's not the case. the show is not sponsered by sony, they are just showing it. as far as the articles i read are concerned the concert has nothing to do with sony. they are just going to cover it on tv.

common i am dead sure... that sony must be the official sponser..to show it on tv.! thats why AR had to choose from the II contestants...i am also a deepali n amit fan but i know there r better singer than them around...they r not the best singers ever seen! just that..
