You don't like these two singers, which is very fine, but you got no right to discredit someone's popularity. Prashant gets votes because police force and less than 1 million of Nepali in Darjeeling and Sikkim area support him.. Chang gets votes because all dentists and Chinese support him.. BUT when a feminine voice of Sonu Nigam(Emon) gets votes, its because he's talented, when sore-throated Ankita gets votes, she deserves it and when Puja and Amit get votes, it's because they have years of musical training and great voices???
Keep such unjustified hatred aside. I'm sure you won't stop voting or start hating your favorite if he/she didn't perform well.. You will vote for them regardless. All the "please support him, please support her" topics in the forum are examples of people's blind love for their II heroes. So why just make Prashant and Chang the escapegoat of favoritism???

Well first of all I guess all the singers in this competition have been unable to sing to their full potential due to sony's constant methods of advertising and travelling and rubarro and all other things must take a lot of time of the contestants.

Coming to chang - he had been a great singer in the auditions but as the days go by he is not able to perform better due to the pressures mentioned above . However there has been an article (check the archive) of about 6000 chinese community voting for him in kolkatta. 😕 If they send many votes he obviously be not in the bottom 4. Plus he does a good personality, however if you only listen to his voice it is not flawless.

Prashant again has the a huge fan base due to his police force and region (like sandeep last year) 😆 .

Plus not everybody votes in india. People in smaller cities will vote more as they feel that somebody from their place will mark their city on the map of india.
There is also competition for votes from rival reality shows (pardon me for saying have lots of great singers) 😆

Lastly emon case reminding me of karunya of II2 as he also in bottom 2 for 5 times. We do not know the number of votes that come in and sony is maybe probably putting emon more in bottom 4 so his fans vote more 😆 , as I have seen in this forum also that he has a huge fan base.
One more point I am not defending anybody but just to let you know amit is not a trainned singer. 😛

On a personal note I would never vote as I do not know whether they are counted or not. Sending sms is not free 😉 , plus if they are good singers they will definately make a mark in the industry (none of earlier idols have sung in more than 2-3 films) 😕

Thus enjoy the show and obviously one thing these contestants are gaining even if they do not win is a starting point to their carrer. 👏

AMIT HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE BOTTOM SINCE HE CAME BACK AND THE JANTA IS STUPID FOR PUTTING EMON IN THE BOTTOM BUT PRASHANT AND CHANG R MUCH MORE DESERVING THAN ANKITA AS PUJA SAID " EK LADKI EK LADKA NAHIN BUN SAKTHI." ALSO I DON'T CARE IF CHANG AND PRASHANT GET OUT AS LONG AS ANKITA DOESN'T WIN OR MAKE IT TO THE FINAL THREE.
