I think Chang is FANTASTIC .. and who did not have bad days in II ?? Even the best ones .. Well even Adnan Sami has a different voice but he does do playback doesnt he ? So does Kailash Kher .. You can not typecast any one. And Chang has a GREAT personality and an amazing voice !! Peace

Some of you are infatuated with his attractive smile and I am not going to say don't 😛
Yes he has some really good traits like personality and confidence. And I know thats enough for turning the girls on. And yeh he can sing to tune too. But his voice is too husky to justify the great tradition of hindi music. May be he can release an album or two and taste some success. But he is not the one to carry the musical torch from the likes of udit, kumar sanu, sonu nigam towards the future. There are few others in the competition who can.

No disrespect to Chang's fans but he is not a good singer in terms of melody, soothingness, soor and so on. He is just an intelligent, confident and good looking guy with a little different kind of voice that is not really suitable for hindi playback singing. I bet Anu Malik or other musicians won't hire him for playback singing.

I think the hype is all about his personality- the handsome guy, the clever gossips, the sketches, the dentist profession etc. Or am I the only one not seeing mithaas aur soor ki gahirai in his aawaj?

Well, i think CHANG😳 is a fantastic singer, he is mind-blowing & if galz like him so they like him, y u r bothered abt it? I also luv CHANG😳. I guess v can't bash sum1 like this only coz dat contestant is not in the fave. list. I m not as intelligent as u, dat i can say "he is he is not a good singer in terms of melody, soothingness, soor and so on". But i can say he is a nice singer.

Did it hurt? lol. Yeh he is a nice singer. But he is not the best to be honest.
You don't have to be intelligent to discern whether someone's voice is soothing or not. otherwise Sony would hire CBSE and IIT toppers as judge instead of Udit and Alisha.😃
BTW I was just saying that he is not an accomplished singer, that's it. Love him and if my wishes were to be true get him 😛
