Emon being appeased? - Page 4

I feel Emon is 100% times better than Amit in everything. He is so much in sur and very versatile. There is no singer who can compter with Emon in II3 as far as singing goes. In singing, Emon can compete with the best of saregama and ASOI any time, not that he is a winner there but he is the best singer in II3.

Amit got hyped because he sang couple of songs good and they could easily hype him to increase show's TRPs.

firstly, i dunt think emon was faking it when he was upset abt parleen. if u notice, emon had his head down even b4 mini took his name. so u cant say tht he did natak coz mini called his name.

All the other contestants had their heads down and were crying as well. do u think they were all doing natak? or faking it? if so, then speak for urself!

Secondly, its pointless raising doubts abt emons singing!
Emon is a terrific singer and each n evry judge has been admittting it since day 1. the contestants think that he is on of the toughest competitor. why would the judges use phrases like "flawless singing", "outstanding" "suron ke baadshah", "one of the most consistent...". they are not mad to pass such comments if he didnt deserve them!!

thirdly, with the whole "emon being over-confident and egoistic" issue, well, its been over-hyped and blown out of proportion. Stupid Sony wants to cash in on even the slightest loggerheads tht happen in II3. so when anu critisised emon saying he was over-confident and all, it was SONY who made the video of the audience giving their opinions abt this issue. you shld luk at emons face when the vid was being played. the poor guy must have felt soo guilty and angry tht sony jus made a mountain out of a mole-hill. emon is NOT over-confident. i mean wht shld he do to proove it? quit from II3 saying he dosent deserve it or sumthing??

sorry but i completely disagree with ur opinions. and whoeva said tht emon cannot be an Indian idol jus because hes short, well, i would like to say, thts the most pathetic thing i've eva heard. Its sad that instead of encouraging his wonderful talent, people are pointing out the silliest of things as his "drawbacks". i mean, wht can he do if hes short? dude, personality and talent is wht matters. Not if he is a few inches short of the "average height for men"!

No one else is saying Indian idol is all about tallest person or a model, so why bother?

The truth is, Indian Idol is all about Singing + Personality = Someone who has the charm to represent on international level.

Indian Idol is not only about having a singer like Lata Mangeshkar, but also with a performer like Sunidhi Chauhan. A combination of Kishore Kumar + Sonu Nigam, and so on.

Do not even think about comparing Richa and Emon.

Yesterday when parleen got out.. emon was all fine .. but boy .. when mini took her name he started doing all that natak (head-down and crying without shedding a single tear).

I think this is appeasement at its heights.

Plus plus, when anu malik judges and praises Amit (what a cool singer) i think he genuinely does that (which he's unable to do in emon's case, reason stated above).

He truly knows that the music industry doesn't needs a cheap feminine voice (albiet surili) which tries to heavily copy Sonu nigam, in the form of Emon.

i agree with dreamrose175 100% that you have no right whatsoever to say that emon was doing natak because you have no proof to back that up. you are trying to spread rumors. you cannot insult parleen and emon's friendship like this.

and his hieght has nothing at all to do with becoming indian idol. that is the most meaningless thing i have read on this forum in months. 😕

and javed saab did not say that emon has a feminine voice. do not put words in the mouth of such a great person!! all he said was that emon's voice becomes thin when he goes to high notes. that means that emon needs to support his voice more from inside in those high notes which are difficult to sing. so either you need to learn hindi because "patli" does not mean "feminine", or you just have a habit of misinterpreting people's words.

as far as over-confidence goes, how would you know that. that is also making an assumption just like you made the assumption that he was doing natak.

so, if you want to criticize his singing, do it properly. make reference to sur etc (which you wouldn't be able to do because he is a flawless singer). but everything you have said so far is 100% incorrect and baseless.

I disagree with you! I dont think he was faking it and he is not over-confiedent. Infact, he never was!(My opinion)
