I agree with you 100%. Emon has a huge range and he is a tremendous versatile singer. amit is a great singer but lacks the versatility. I hope Emon wins the contest.

Amit and Emon will battle hard but as much as I like Amit, I think Emon will win because of versatility. Amit is damn good but his weakness will be the masti bharey songs wherein Emon will steal the crowds. Anyone with me on this ?? Please lay it on me ........ this is how I feel and my gut is usually "right on"...... 😉

Whatever, are people crazy, to say amit has no versatility is not very smart. Lets look at the songs he has sung in the gala's only(I can take all the songs but since amit shined the best in gala's lets talk about that)
First he sang In dino, it's a semi classic song. He did justice to it and he was the best that week

Second he sang Main hoon jhoom jhoom, it's a upbeat fast track song which is hard as hard gets. He mastered it and was the best that day next to deeps i think

third gala he sang nasha yeh pyaar ka, it was a romanctic soft number with hard low range notes which he rocked at and was considered by most one of the best performances in the total of Indian idol history

fourth gala he sang dil mera churaya kyun which is again a slow romantic track and he did full justice to it, then he sang the rocking Tum kya jaano which made the whole audience get up and dance. He was the best in that gala as well

finally the fifth gala he sang Pehla Nasha which is a slow romantic number and he had so much passion and intensity in it that the people were asking him to sing once more for the third time in a row and no need to say that it was again one of the best performances of the night.

Now please tell me where is the lack of versatility? Amit's strength is in the romance of his voice and he does it to perfection, so he tried it a few times but what ever he did he was best in the show for 5 weeks in a row. Now if they give the Indian idol title based on these performances in my opinion amit deserves to win. Just cos Emon is very open and jumpy doesn't make him the automatic winner. People recognize with amit as well. people recognize with the beauty of that voice. He's an adult and he behaves like one. there's nothing wrong with that and if people only vote for Emon cos he's 18 and behaves like his 15 doesn't make him a winner

But after all this i have to say Emon is a wonderful singer and he has equal chances as Amit in winning this title. he should win cos he sings well not cos he's more open or whatever. He wasn't as good as amit in most gala's but he has a voice which is very beautiful and sometime I feel is even better than Amit's. but Amit is not going to lose just cos he doesn't show his versatility cos he has shown enough of his versatility.

Both amit and Emon can win if they work hard and give their best. At this point it's not fair to say amit can't be a winner cos he hasn't shown versatility. It's not true.
