If you look good, you feel good and if you feel good, you look good. Smita is a classic example of the old adage.

Smita was always a very good singer but completely lacked faith in herself. She let her looks build and inferiority complex that affected her singing and personality. The makeover was superficial it did nothing but package her differently, but the real makeover was in her confidence and attitude. It gave her the confidence to believe in herself and have more faith in her own singing. A few weeks ago Smita might have been one to have melodramatic teary exit that was vindicative and unfair. But now she is a mature person who realizes some unexpected things do happen and you have to take it in stride.

Kudos to Smita for one of the most graceful exits. I think her new found self confidence and class will take her a long way. It was always in her, she just had to discover it. As for talent, she does have it.

True she did not cry when shwe was unfairly voted out, but she left tears for many music lovers like me...

With this mental maturity added to her exceptional singing, she will surely make it big.. I am sure! And may be, some day she will singing a duet with Udit Narayan, composed by Anu Malik and worded by Javed Akhtar soon....

Wish you all the best Smita.... Today the junta could not appreciate your true talent, but one day they surely will!

👏 👏 for smita.

never really liked her...but i respect her A LOT after her exit.

she did not shed 1 drop of tear when most people are unable to even complete their farewell song. also, its good for her and her singing career that she was voted out after a good performance. she wasnt gonna make it far into the contest. we all know that. but had she left after a poor performance, she would have returned home and that would have been the end. since she left at a time when even the judges supported her, more doors of potential opportunities are open for her. shes not a performer and was never suited for shows like II...but she will create a name for herself in playback singing.
