india-forums idol?

why dont we have a competition where singers upload their recorded voice and be judged based on that?
no musical instrument allowed, and people should stay away from editing using softwares etc...
rerecording from scratch is fine though, so basically you have as many attempts you want

and it wont be a weekly thing, but it will be more like first 10 entries, next 10 entries... etc...top 2 from each 10 entries will be selected, and then after top 10 are selected (which means 5 rounds), then we will have one final round of these top 10 people, and 2 people will be chosen out of that...

how does that sound?

the contest wont take place in this thread.... this thread is just to discussed the ideas
if you guys approve, i will create a new official thread, and then the mods will have to make it sticky i guess...

wud u like the organize it?? we can have that if we get lots of ppl participating and also helping out...

last year we had one also...cool water started it...u can ask her for help, if she is willing to continue...

oh cmon, we're all amateur singers here....
it'll be okay, but i dont wanna force you into it....

we wont have judges as such, because we all will be judges as we all get to vote
hehe... but you could be one of the organizers or anchors or something like that lol

umm i am not too sure if i wanna take the full responsibility of organizing it...
but if other people want to help out, then maybe we can do it
