Apologies and Such

Hi everyone,

I have read a lot of posts from people who have apologized to Suhit fans for saying bad things about Suhit. I'm not sure I understand this. If you give your opinion in a respectful manner, there is no need to apologize for it. Maybe we shouldn't stoop to calling him bad names (even though he had no problem doing so to Charu on national television), but at least we are allowed to say things like, "I don't think he deserved to be Indian Idol" or "He was the worst of the lot." If everything is done in a civilized manner, what is the need to apologize?

Also, we don't apologize when we write bad things about other contestants, so why should we apologize for one particular person all the time? Are Suhit's fans so overly-sensitive that they can't handle the fact that a lot of people don't think he deserves to be in the Top 13? And if that's the case, should everyone keep walking on eggshells?

This is just my two cents. You can agree with it or you can attack it, but I just think that we should stop saying sorry for having our own opinion and not liking him.

yeaaa i agree with u 1000000%.......i mean why does one have to be apologetic for thier views...it's their own view and they are entitled to it....so just like ppl shld not constantly ask suhit fans why they like suhit...the same way ppl who don't like suhit or whoever for tht matter shld not feel like they have to fear hurting anybody just becoz they are sharing their views..as long as none of the contestants or any of the forum members are not personally attacked and it is purely a constructive criticism there shld be nothing wrong with tht..i mean this forum wud not exist if ppl didn't voice their opinions..and the beauty of this forum is tht thr are all kinds of ppl who have all kinds of views....so defend ur fav and criticize the ones u don't like....tht's the way it goes...let's not be sooo childish as to write a mile long aplolgy for our wn views...let's be glad tht we care enuff to have views....imo... 😳

lol.. bt well i tink suhitians dont lyk da fact dat u ppl criticise da boy for his luks n personality n style.. [his nailpolish, hair, trainers, jeans, shirt, etc..]
achli all suhitians agree dat he aint da best singer.. bt he does have sumtng das y hes der..

Hi Deepa,

I don't think they are overly sensitive or anything, some of them are my very good friends from last year. I was personally apologizing to my friends as my comments on Suhit probably hurt them. Well to me my friends come first and thats why I apologized 😊

I can understand that. You don't want to hurt your friends. But the reason I posted this message is that I've noticed it's become universal. If it's just something between friends, that's a different story!

Well anyway thats your good heart that you guys think good of me, see thats why I was sad and thats why I apologized Deepa!! So I guess it was between me and my friends🤗

right we shudnt apologise for having our own view point provided we didnt cross any limit to humiliate a person - I have criticized Suhit, I agree but of course didnt stoop as low as Suhit did in case of Charu 😆 😆 but if ppl say he is a complete package excluding singing then naturally we try n focs on his x factor as well ... whats wrog in that - if you call a spade a spade there shudnt be any arguments there 😳

Good for you buddy! :) I don't know you, but everyone else seems to think highly of you. That's a great thing!
