Guys please behave like grown ups and give that girl a break. Am I really reading that she attained "redemption" yesterday? If her "mistake" required redemption as you say then I think each one of us should immediately resolve to redeem ourselves. After all do you all swear that you have never unintentionally hurt anyone? not said anything thoughtlessly to anyone when you knew you were wrong?
or even did a mistake but later appologized simply because you realised you were wrong and not because you had some caulculative hidden agenda?
if richa was that calculative cunning person you all claim she is then she wouldnt have behaved in that manner in duet round. her behavior which can very well be attributed to shyness is being condemned like its a sin.. and why am I not hearing from the same people anyhting about the way suhit actually used abusive words against charu?
her natural expressions are interpreted as some scheming.. i think you are all too mcuh influenced by soap operas. richa could have been wrong in duet round.. and now her applody is simply natural there is no ulterior motive in that..
i doubt if her reluctance to practice in duet round was for only few mins and sony is publicising it to create drama.. richa could have been made a scapegoat..

I am not saying tht her behaviour needed redemption...i have always maintained tht she is young and has a lot to learn in life...and most of all proffessional ettiquette and ethics...so i had no problem with her beahvior i dismissed it off as an immature mistake...but lots've ppl in the forum seemed to be really hung up about her attitude and her demeanour etc...so i felt tht this act of an open admission of mistake shld be able to redeem her in the eyes of those who were judging her....

As far as the issue of anyone of us commitiing such acts in daily life...OFCOURSE...most of us do many such big and small things everyday of our life......we knowingly or unknowingly hurt ppl around us.....BUT...this is difference of being in your private life and being in the public eye....when u want to get fame...there is a price attached to it..and tht is being judeged every step of the way in the court of public opninion....unfortunately most of the judges in court of public opinion are not as magnanimous as u are to think bout their own flaws b4 pointing fingers...but if she wants to get success...she will have to be veryyy careful so as not to step on pplz toes as she goes up....whether u like it or not tht's the way it is...and the good part is tht richa seems to caught on...or someone is guiding her the right way...coz even if assuming tht she apologized to prashant for selfish reasons..like some ppl are suggesting...still it was a good move and will certainly help her in the long run...😛

You have valid point, but the thing is we agree we have lot of faults in ourselves, so we expect to find an idol who is "be-daag" redemption for Richa or not..everyone will always remember her rudeness....I remember I cried after listening to her song in audition. But I always remember the manipulative Richa when I see her performance..may be i have lot of faults ;-)

redemption is required or not I don't know. But being a kid she should have atleast realised that Prashant is older than her and she should have atleast some respect for him no matter what. She should not have been rude.

also the apology yesterday was done on purpose as lot of ppl are offended by her attitude. Personally I did not like it.

I completely agree. Prashant seems like a complete package...amazing singer, wonderful personality, warm-human being. Also, I liked the fact that Richa publicly apologized and Prashant showed what a big heart he has as well. I thought it was ironic how Richa's reply to the question if she had to sing a duet with Prashant was that she would be fortunate to do so. I think this incident serves as a lesson not only to Richa, but to all of us. Never underestimate other people or consider yourself superior. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
