And if Sanjaya can take part in American Idol just staying in US for 2 generations (his dad was born in India and not in US) whats the problem with Chang being a part of II 3 ? I think its not fair to say he is not Indian. his fore fore fathers had come to India. I think he said he is 5th generation Chinese. And being born in India he is very much Indian and not Chinese. If someone born in Italy can compete for the prime ministership ( Pls pls pls not to start anyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy political argument .. this is just an example.. We belong to a peace loving country and we accept everyone) Here is a person who may be looks a little different but apart from that I think he is an Indian.

I hope this does not start a huge argument in this forum. I am just trying to say that we should appreciate the efforts a person is taking and accept him as a part of us. His Hindi is amazing, he sings so well and he has the same dream like others in the competition. Here is a link about Chinese immigrats in India.

Once again .. this is just my thoughts .. moderators, please block this topic if this starts an argument. This is just to share some information as I am from Kolkata and have many Chinese desendent friends who love this country as much as we do.

Who said Chang is not Indian 😡 😡 😡

Well, i hate Anuu Malik alot. But this time i will take his side, i sincerely think he didn't mean to question Chang's nationality, he was just shocked to see an "Indian from Chinese origin" singing so well that if you close your eyes you can't tell that he is an "Indian of Chinese origin", simple 😊 no need to fight on this issue. Chang is as much Indian as we all are.

Meiyang is really talented and no one can deny that .. Rest all is left to the destiny as to how far he gets there ...

From here on, I think, it's purely luck that will get one through .. So I am keeping my fingers crossed for him .. 😃
