well true.....but i dont think u can compare student/teacher with contestants/judges really...

students are there to study....they have to do it....if not then they have no career ahead of them....i dont think itz really a choice...and which student would want to fail on purpose? unless they are total losers, well then they deserved to fail...whereas the contestants that come there who cannot sing...they have a choice....they onli come to waste time....if they know they cant sing, and they have a choice of NOT performing....then why do they?

wen a student writes rubbish on an exam, the teacher gives bad marks...

wen a contestant performs rubbish, the judges give them bad comments...

teachers dont have to go thru so many nonense papers, as much as the judges have to tolerate horrible contestants....

i do agree that the judges are rude many times...but im just saying imagine being in their position...

The comments can be put in more enoucraging ways, cant they be? There are A LOT OF WAYS to tell people they can't do something, telling them stuff which is SIMPLY DISCOURAGING and, to me, PATHETIC is wrong.

Anu Malik is really discouraging, trust me, a teacher would never say it to his/her student things in the way Anu does. Anu is like a mentor, he is a judge and when your a judge your SUPPOSED to act in a more responsible way then behaving so childishly.

Your right and I fully agree with you that its hard to be in thier position but once you have taken up the responsibility of such a respectful and demanding position then why behave so childishly? When you do know what it was like the first time and you know you can't take it then why go for the second time?

May be Anu Malik believes in "good publicity, bad publicity -- still a publicity" and may be that's why he comments in such a rude way.

Now that Anu and Alisha have taken up that responsibility, I think they should do it respectfully without hurting anyone's sentiments.

Udit Narayan and Javed Akhtar also both comment but why aren't their comments not talked about as much as Anu and Alisha's are?

Becuase they KNOW the difference between rudeness and refusing someone politely but at the same time not discouraging them.

Editing to add this bit as didn't read it earlier:

Criticism is best way to achieve more in life !!!😛

But it should be Constructive Criticism, not the one which Anu and Alisha do😳

First of all its not SRGMP like they r training under these judges...they r judges only & not mentors...They r not staying with them not even spending time with them to train too...

Also u cant deny the fact that when they get good singers they praise with good words too...So far whoever good in SUR they didnt teased at all...Even they gave benefit of doubts to many who lost SUR too....

Anu Malik has been well known throughout the indian idol seasons for being rude.. its nothing new to me.. not that i like it... i kinda try to put myself in their position and i know it can be hard for them.. cramped in a room listening to so many people sing and being able to pick out only a few people among them.. it gets frustrating but i don't think taking out the frustration on the people who are there for the audition is the right thing to do... there are other ways to take out your frustration...

i agree some people don't take the show and audition seriously.. they are there just to have some fun but so many people the judges ridicule really don't have any idea how bad they sing.. so the judges should let them know nicely that they are not good singers... why choose so many different rude ways of denying them? (but i also don't like those people who keep on protesting the judge's decision to not let them go to the next round and saying that they're really good)

and praising good singers with good words doesn't make up for all the heart break the judges give to so many other people... and if you can be nice to someone, then you have to be nice to everyone... people shouldn't change their behavior from person to person!!

Judge should be like Javedji They should learn something from Javedji

Yes sometime they are behaving like dumb and immaturish ...I mean its not 100% contestant's fault ..they might be worst singers but how come they are geting chance for auditions ?Its all staged and sony wants all this drama but when judges know all this why they give very nasty comments ... we all know there is very thin line between being funny /humorus and being rude/nasty and except Javed ji other three doesn't really know how to hanlde it well.
Anyway why Alisha only says Bathroom me nahi gana ...looks like her husbanad /bf /ex was terrible bathroom singer 😆😆

Well, I believe it's all abt TRPs ... u c, when the judges come across these besuras, they go to a big extent to add masala ... Sony knows people will watch some of these episodes only to view these ridiculous contestants ..... I believe there are 4 types of people whom they show : totally besuras, people with ridiculous costumes, people with some story of struggle and finally the really good ones .... I feel except for the good ones, the judges have been advised to go over the top for the other ones 😛 😛

What do u guys say .... ?

I think this time it looks more like rude behaviour on the part of judges because both Alisha and Udit Narayan seem to be very docile , dinified people ..

so when they say rude words to the contestants it doesn't suit their persona and it sounds very insulting and that is something I am not enjoying ...
Last year , that Aashique banaya guy sang but the way Sonu made his face , Farah said 'va, va va ' and laughed made the whole episode funfilled one not once did I feel the comment to be insulting ...

Sonu, Farha and Anu had great camraderie and none of them were total bore ...that's what made the dull moments entertaining !!!!!

Here, It seems that Uditji and Alisha are forced to say rude words and that just don't suit them ...

But I think once the top 28 will be shown , we will hear more constructive criticisms and good and funny ( pleaaasseee ) comments 😊 ....
