Indian Idol 1 (November 2004-March 2005) was a big draw and made the winner Abhijit Sawant a household name across the country. Indian Idol 2 (November 2005-April 2006) had Sandeep Acharya bag the crown, but he was not as popular as its predecessor.

I am not gonna watch II3 with same interest as i did II1 & 2
I dint watch SRGMP so i dont know how good or bad Himesh as a judge is
