Anu Malik getting updated!

For sometime now composer Anu Malik is going through a rough phase of his career with the critics and detractors almost writing him off. But he is not one of those men to take it on his face. So to update himself with the latest music trends and new developments in the field of music he has enrolled himself in a music school.

When asked though Anu was not open about it, he didn't snub the news as a whole. "I am a student and I keep learning things every day. Now, I have become a student again. I have had my share of glory. The awards and praises are a thing of the past. At present, I'm focusing on the future. I compose my own music and make my own 'mukhdas'. I've realised what people want today. And you will see the new Anu Malik soon. India is booming in terms of creativity. Today, sound production is rocking. I'm now a student in terms of everything that's associated with music. I'm learning several new aspects and have incorporated them in my forthcoming films—Umrao Jaan, Jaaneman, Zindaggi Rocks, Woodstock Villa and Love Story 2050. After more than 25 years in music, I am enjoying the process of learning again. I know the change won't be immediate, but you will see it in my forthcoming work."

Anu does agree that he is going through some tough times currently. "The last couple of years have been very tough, personally and professionally. I lost my father. And I have been working round the clock. Now, I am eagerly awaiting the release of Zindaggi Rocks, Jaaneman and Umrao Jaan. The producers of these films have pinned their hopes on me and I don't want to let them down."
