Indian Idol finds his real idol

The arrival of Ganesh Chaturthi brings a season of celebration to Mumbai.

Indian Idol Amey Date wearing a?pitambar (puja dhoti)?prays to Lord Ganesha in his home.

Date may have lost out on the coveted Idol title, but he has become a part of the Hindi film industry.

In fact, Anu Malik (who was a judge at the Indian Idol contest) reportedly?visited Date at his home.
