Sonu Niigam to quit singing!

Giving an unexpected twist to his recent 33rd birthday celebrations, Sonu Niigam stunned the guests present by announcing his plans to retire from singing! Elaborating about his decision, Sonu said, "This is something I have been thinking about for quite some time now and this year I decided to make a formal announcement on the eve of my birthday, that I now want to retire from singing. I know that there will be a lot of speculation about this decision of mine but my reasons are very clear: When I entered this industry, the only motive I had, was to earn name as a playback singer. By God's grace, not only did I get immense fame as a playback singer but I also cut music albums, judged contests, anchored shows and also worked in a movie. After having done all this, I now feel it is prudent to make a graceful exit. Also, due to my hectic schedules in the last decade or so, I have not been able to pursue any of my other hobbies, which I now intend to do, since I feel I am settled enough in life to do so. I have a long-standing dream to own a farmhouse and practice agriculture or horticulture over there. That is what I now want to do."

The only solace for Sonu's fans is that he does not plan to chuck away singing instantly. "I certainly cannot just announce my farewell on a whim, leaving all my commitments unfulfilled" remarked Sonu, adding "But I'll begin cutting down on my work, such that if I am now singing a hundred songs, now it will be only thirty and then slowly diminish to nil."

I absolutely HATE Sonuji for doing this to us....Wat does he think he is saying..Its very easy for him to make that announcement...Does he even care about us..his fans???Does he know how much we value his music..We always wish and pray that he remains happy and this is what he gives us..I can understand if he wants to take a break but QUIT??????
I HATE him for this..I really do....I know its his life and he has the right to live it like he wants..But doesnt he have a moral responsibility towards us who care so much for him...???? 😭

I know he achieved a lot, but sangeet is an ocean. It never ends. No one has completely learnt the eternity of sangeet.

When the real talented singers are still going strong, how could sonu say that he had enough of it?

i think its some kind of a prank.. I am sure the person who is so passionate about music, would never give up so easily..

He is not giving up..He wants to sing and learn 4 himself now...doesnt want the world to hear him anymore..People strive to get everyone to hear them..and here one person doesnt want it...It beats me yaar..all I can say is I am totally disappointed and angry with Sonu for this...He mite want a break..he mite cut down..but QUIT????That is attrocious...He doesnt care for any of his fans dat means and I cant take that.............

I am so disturb 😭 no words to describe my feelings 🤢 he shouldn't quite singing he is the best singer we ever had after rafi ji 😭 I don't know what made him do that what ever the reason he should continue sinning 😭 I am going to u s a on 23rd august if I go to his concert ill request him not to quite 😡 simply I am very upset about that I hop he changes his mind 😭 see what birthday gift he has given to his fans 😭 [:^

Yeah Saira....Wat a wunderful way to thank us for our B'day wishes...Saira if u meet him...tell him he cant do dis to us...He is only thinking abt himself...wat abt us...Did he even think abt his fans bfore making such a decision....😭
