Sunidhi Chauhan Attitude:Mod note Pg 9 - Page 3

She might be having an attitude but she is the best judge. I too agree Asha bhosle is equally cocky and also her judgements are biased. She has a tendency to form an opinion about the contestants and base her judgements on that. I hope Sunidhi is not replaced. She gives the right pointers.
Well about AB not liking it. Nobody at the top wants accept they are wrong. AB was a phenomenal singer. But SC is also equally good. And the other thing I like abot SC is the way she practically snows how it was sung and how it could have been sung.

I think I would be someone that would fall in the middle in regards to SC. I feel like at times she come off as harsh but overall she does not seem wrong in her judgements. I think the reason she comes off as having an attitude and harsh is due to other judges being too nice with their comments or not pointing out one's mistakes in a direct way in order to not hurt the contestants feelings.

I think AB cannot allow herself to be harsh or say something that will hurt one's feelings, but that does not mean she is not a good judge. I am simply saying that she has certain level of image and prestige/respect that she has in the eyes of the public and being harsh with a contestant does not go well with that image or personality that she has. I feel like she has this certain level of grace and softness to her personality that even when she points out mistakes of the contestants it does not sounds harsh.

Salim just has an infection smile and personality and I feel like even when he is being serious it is hard to take him seriously as it was shown by the funny clip made the II6. I think he is one of those positive people that every show seems to have that softens all the blows and harsh criticism given by other judges around him.

Anu Malik in my opinion is very inconsistent in his judgment comments not to mention the whole making fun of someone's singing. To a certain degree I feel like he is much more harsh with his comments than SC because when he is not happy with a contestant he uses words like "disappointment, unbelievable, I am shocked at how bad...etc etc.. where is SC on the other hand focuses on specific mistakes that were made by the contestants and even goes as far as showing them how to sing it by singing it herself.

I feel like she could be compared to Simon Cowell in American Idol who most people found very harsh and mean at first but after a season or so he was the most famous/popular judge because he said it like it was and didn't beat around the bush. So to me SC is a Simon Cowell of India and I think public she needs time to understand her and once they see that her criticism is really nothing but stating reality they might actually like her more than other judges.

I am basing this solely on seeing her this season as I don't know much about her as a singer or anything aside from hearing couple of her songs and on how other shows seem to work.

Sunidhi has spent way too much time with Anu, sang ka rang to chadta hi hai

As a singer she is very very good NOW but a lot of her initial songs were not much to write home about. Honestly, to me she used to sound like beggers that sang in the trains 😎

As a judge, she is horrible. A lot of her comments did not make any sense. Several times as she shot her mouth with her "modulation kam tha" nonsense, the camera showed "yeah right" expressions from both Salim and Asha. Sundhi the least experienced judge on the panel thinks she is the most experienced.

Other times she mocked the contestants with her immature jodidaar Anu and made a fool of herself.

I think RDB and OPN discussion needs its own thread which we can discuss at length as well.

Where as Salim and Anu are positive most of the time. Even in auditions she cought minor mistakes and said no to lots of contestants but Anu and Salim let them go to Bombay but look what happened!! Those singers did not make it to top 10.Just a new example, look what has happened to Krutica ! She is gone and Charit made it to top 10. You basically stole the words out of my mouth. As they say in India "sach hamesa Kadva Hota hai" Obviously sunidhi likes to say the truth whether anyone else likes it or not. Because of that she is supposedly the "bad person" OH PLEASE give me a break.

I personally speak the truth myself and believe me people at my work place HATE ME for it. But at the end of the day I know that I don't have to rely on lies to get my point across. anyhow the point being is Salim feels like he is obligated to agree with Ashaji and I think so does Anuji somewhere in back of his mind, however Sunidh seems to be completely opposite. She likes stand for what is true and at that point she doesn't care if someone else agrees with her or not.

Another thing is that Ashaji might have the singing experience but Sunidhi has the experience of singing for today's audience another words today's generation. So therefore she looks for what the audience today would listen to.

As for SC, she is known to have little rebelious attitude towards AB. It seems like she is begging for recognition at part with AB. However good SC sings, AB, LM did not get their status like 5-7 years. SC has to understand that there are many good singers like Sunu, Alka, Shreya, Shan and Rahat. You just cannot easily say that any one of these have achieved what AB or LM have done in long 60-70 years. Same thing for MR, KK and so on.

SC is too hungry for that level of recognition which she doesn't get while around AB. I am not sure if I have stated what I am trying to say exactly but I have tried. I like her as a singer.

Having said that many of her comments were not wrong or there was nothing wrong with it. But that attitude is what we are talking about here. That attitude I think comes from that insecurity or something god knows what.

I doubt it because what is she gonna get out of this "insecurity" thing you are talking about. I mean seriously let's say that a singer which SC doesn't like is the Idol do you really think the "idol" is going to be trying to Compete against SC. I doubt sunidhi is Insecure

I was quite excited to see sunidhi last year as a judge, being my favourite singer.

Salim accepts the legendary status of AB with humbleness and grace. See, he will not oppose AB even if she is not right. But SC has that urge that I am something and I must show that off.
