I am not happy with the results at all. The voting process is all wrong. I think all Idol shows (American or Indian) should have an universal voting system. American Idol gives a 2 hour voting time after each show. Why does Indian Idol give until the next morning? Also what's up with the 2-3 weeks voting time before the finale? The show Dancing with the Stars only accepts one vote per email/phone number, which is the real and fair way to go.

To all those who bakup sandeep so much,do accept the truth dat Karunya is the no.1 singer in this industry.Just repeating wat Anu Malik said in the grand finale.If u talk about talent, then talent means the ability to sing every kind of song with ease.Rite! which Karunya displayed.Farah complimented on Karunyas singing dat oh! my God "tum sab kuch ga sakte ho yaar".Dats wat a true singer is.Vishal/Shekar ccomplimented karunya dat u r the indian idol after seeing his ability to perform and sing displaying his voice changes for two different singers in one song which was beyond sandeeps reach. Yes idol really fits wit karunya and not Sandeep.Javed Akhtar complimented dat karunya u not only have the art of singing but also yur craft is so gud and u so flawless. Guys! cum on!! can't u see the difference or is it hard to accept this bitter truth.can any of Sandeeps fan whom i see defending him in this forum give an example of one particular moment where any of the judges or guest judges complimented Sandeep dat u r the indian idol.Karunya got this compliment # f times guys.I am just putting down facts which sandeep fans shud clearly see and accept dat sandeep got very very lucky to get away wit this idol title but in reality karunya is the true idol in every aspect if considering his singin talents and deep down in yur heart u all know for sure.I really admired his singing capability when he sang the songs of abhishek in the grand finale.Sandeep mostly sang udits songs cuz his voice resembles his.My personal opinion to the future participants of indian idol dat if u r from a smaller state then do not eva dream to participate in this indian idol show cuz despite yur hard work and singing talent, u will only recieve tears and heart break by not recieving huge amount of votes compared to those who cum from larger states though they don't have singing talent.Sony shud change its concept entirely and if not then remove judges as their judgement has no weight in this competition rite now.Don't know wat role they play.But If this show is based entirely on judges decission then the true indian idol will always emerge and then it will justify the true talented participant and his/her dream won't get shattered.

just for a lil correction..Sandeep didnt win just cuz of his looks. its cuz he won millions of ppl's hearts thats kinda diffrnt. but anyway his looks i guess din go against him, they kinda helped him.

Well smiley face and pleasant personality always win ppls heart over talent.But indan public shudn't be this dumb.Sonu nigams voice dosen't seem to reach dumb public ears.Anyways m not either ones fan but jst giving my personal opinion cuz i feeljustification wasn't served to the talented one.

Just cheer up everyone, in all the competitions, underdogs have won. This is just the beginning of their life, they have got a real big platform to show their talents, now they will really have to work hard to make a name in the future, there are already a lot, new ones are coming, tough competitions ahead.

seriously Karunya should have won...its probably all those poeple that were judging on looks instead of talent.... 😡

The real winner is Sandeep of course ! even though it was a close contest and it is heart breaking to see karunya loose . i am sure both are winners with all teh fan following !

I agree. Although my personal vote would have been for Karunya..they are both good singers. Some songs Karunya did amazainlgy well and some songs Sandeep carried off with much more flair.

Karunya should have been the Indian Idol, but Sandeep got for everything put together I guess.

Atlleast Karunya has true fans to support him, and with all the publicity, hopefully he'll land up big in the industry if it has any sense of sheer talent.

Sandeeps on his way already.
