My 2 cents...yet again:-)

Is it just me or what…the Judges praised Sandy's Eena Meena Dika but I think it was mediocre…he was off key at places…he bungled with some words…then why did they praise him so much?? First I thought that this was a Sony ploy…knowing very well that Sandy had a good chance of winning the show they had asked the Judges to promote him coz criticizing him at this stage would mean Sony carrying the baggage of a perceived average singer for one whole year…

But the surprises didn't end for me…I thot he did a great job with Ae Watan …and the judges didn't like it!!!!!! Annu did a massive U turn and was not mincing any words….

For me the high point was Khaike Paan banaras waala…Sandy rocked in that one…He was comfortable singing , dancing and interacting with the audience…

And why O why did Sony have to get in Arbaaz Khan as the celeb guest???????????

What could have been avoided is the cheap Amitabh Bacchan disguises for the 2 contestants…and Sandy saying " mere pass yeh baal hain aur farah ke comments hain….eeeeks!

honestly i though he sand ae watan sort of schoolboyish ..he sorta reminded me of the kind of rendition u hear on Aug15 or Jan26 during the flag hoisting at school and some kid would stand to attention in front of the mike and have a go.. 😆 maybe its just me ..but methinks sandys songs didnt have much feeling as he was trying too hard to be technically perfect 😕 ....just my opinion.

i was so looking forward for gulzar saheb and arbaaz? uff.....may be arbaaz was last minute change. who knows!!!

finale has alisha chinoy performing kajrare with karunya & sandeep and i think sonu nigam is going to sing too.

even I had the same feeling when I watched the show but I neveeva understand why?? and perhaps thats why judges choice doesnt match with public!! what they like is necessarily not what people think and if these people are the voters, no wonder why everytime there was just opposite results then what judges thought!!

I 100% agree with you on his "Khaike Paan Banaras Wala" rendition - the comfort level and the ease with which he was singing and performing on this rocking number was awesome... and even I dint feel there was anything wrong with Aey Watan....he did good job if not great in this song...
For the challenge round, even though he wasnt at his best but since he surpassed everyone's expectation - he got those comments!! may be, they overlooked technicalities when he messed up with some words in last lines....

Arbaaz khan in grand finale...humm...I have a whole post dedicated to that section under the name confusion on celeb judges😃....first, it was Jatin-Lalit, then it was Gulzar and finally what we got was Arbaaz Khan's presence...I wish they can actually get Alisha, Isha Koppikar and Kajol as they are showing in promos.....
