Sandeep riding high!
The Finalist of the nation's biggest talent hunt show Indian Idol, Sandeep received unbelievable and warm welcome by the people of Bikaner. The welcome procession was moving very slow as the walled-city (Downtown!!) was jam-packed to welcome Sandeep. A number of welcome banners and gates were erected on the way of procession. Flowers were showered all along the way to greet the first homecoming of the local boy. This is for the first time after Indian Idol finals started that Sandeep is coming home. An Indian Idol team from Sony TV is also accompanying Sandeep during this Visit. Sandeep was in the front seat of Bolero Car. Fire crackers, color and slogan shouting were all along the way. Seeing the immense public turn-out, sandy shifted to an open-hood jeep to thanx his fan and supporters. From the heartland of the city, he rode the camel to his home where hundreds of fans were already waiting for a glimpse of their Idol - Sandeep!!

Junta went crazy to see Sandy!!
After breaking the records for ever gathering of such a huge crowd in the Railway Stadium – the biggest in the town, the eager crowd went impatience during the welcome-felicitation program in the honor of Indian Idol Finalist and local boy Sandeep. Organizers didn't expect that much of people gathering and all their efforts were went in vain to control the crazy people who wanted to touch and shake hand with their newly emerged national fame 'Boy from Bikaner' – Sandeep. Scheduled to start at 6 PM, the venue was jam-packed 2 hrs before the start of the program and almost equal crowd was gathered outside the stadium. Crowd waited for long as Sandeep arrived 4 hrs late in the program. And after seeing the uncontrolled huge mass, organizers had to stop the program abruptly after police requested them to do so.

Sandeep Showed Gratitude!!
Just one step from the 'Top Notch' and the crown of Indian idol, Sandeep showed his gratitude to Rajasthan Patrika, who organized 'Golden Voice of Rajasthan' last year wherein Sandeep rocked the state and won the title. This was the beginning of the journey which has led him to the Indian Idol stage and made him a National Figure. When a journalist tried to compare the scale of 'Golden Voice of Rajasthan' and Indian idol - before completion of the question, Sandeep interrupted the journalist and said that the scale doesn't matter that much, he got more support due to that competition which made him household name in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Patrika also published a special photo feature on Sandeep and Sandy was surprised to see his childhood pictures in the newspaper. He thanked the newspaper group for the news coverage they have been doing from the beginning and also thanked the readers who are supporting him untiring.

Sandeep Rocked the City!!
After a day full of events, Sandeep was again called on the stage in a program organized by Sony TV on behalf of MP and MLA of Bikaner. He was tired but got charged and full of enthusiasm to see the huge number of youngsters supporting him and waving him all the day. Girls were especially crazy for him and were showering flowers petals on their dream-boy Sandy. This is perhaps first ever in the history of Bikaner that such a huge turn out of people followed Sandeep all the day long. Members of Rajeev Youth Club have been campaigning for their local hero and they thanked one and all for their votes, support and love to Sandeep.
On public demand, Sandeep also performed 'Mai Nikalaa; Gaddi Leke' and crowd was rocking with him. The stage was also damaged in one corner due to crazy fanfare that got onto stage.
