Mindblowing performance Ramta Jogi

I just listened to Ramta Jogi by Karu back to back about 4 times... It is just mind blasting... I cannot resist dancing and I can imagine Aishwarya rai dancing each time... It is so hard to even focus on the singing as he just takes you to a different level... into a trance

One of Karu's best and ofcourse II2 and II1's best performance...

Karunya rocks totally... can mesmerize anyone with his music.

Listen to the one done by Hemu ...i promise you will play it all day long.

I have heard Hemachandra too, saw that episode with Subhash Ghai. Thought he sang it very well, but honestly did not feel the same way.

I always found Hemachandra had some issues with the words and pronunciation... something Karunya masters.

Still I really really liked hemu in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa... his Nahin Samne was really magical... loved it.

Agree with you there. But Hemu being younger than Karu...will eventually pickup. Many of my Hyderabad friends are fluent in hindi..but have that urdu flavor to hindi. They speak with an accent. That's what surprises me..how Karunya can speak with correct accent.

Overall i love Hemu's voice quality, his personalization of hindi songs. Sometimes you could notice when he takes the harkaats ..its mindblowing.

Like Gajji from SRMP said " If we just go by voicequality, Hemu should have won the contest."

Anyways atleast in II2 lets hope talent wins.(Karunya).

It just proves that such melodious and difficult songs cannot be attempted by Anuj & Sandeep.

This needs a lot of disciplined training that Chandu & Karu have.

Talent & versatilty are shadowed by politics.

Hope Karu gets past what Chandu succumbed to

Karunya's version was very good.. but I wasn't tat impressed... I thought his Piya Re and Laayee Vi Na Gayi were better...much much better..

With Ramta Jogi, there is a mad passion...there is this pain and yet there is this feeling of joy..uhave to be able to feel it.. and that is where I thought Hemu scored.. Karunya's was perfect in sur, taal and diction wise it was better than Hemu.. the feeling was there..but the passion was somewhere missing.. my opinion only..

but then again, hearing Hemu's version first, it stuck more in my head.. had to not listen to Hemu's version for a day and then listening to Karu's made me appreciate it more..

Karu's laayee vi na gayi was so good, the original sounds messed up now !!!

i like both their singing....they are awesome
