New to Indian Idol

Hello everyone,

As you guys can see from a my nick I used to watch Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and was a big Vinit supporter. Now that it has finished I want to watch Indian Idol. Can anyone introduce me to this show and tell me who is the best. A little update will be appreciated. I saw the show here and there and saw the last episode where there was elimination of Meenal. That was the episode when Karunya sang Lagan Lagi (I though he was good in that song). But I have hardly heard anyone else sing.

So who are the contestants and who do you guys think is the best.

How about the judges, who is the best and who is the worst?

Well welcome to Indian Idol.There are total of 5 singers now..that includes Karunya Amey Antara Sandeep Anuj..
The show had about 11 or 12 finalists who entered the galas..first one to leave the lovely stage was SAGAR! next was YASHASREE(if i am not mistaken) next was NEHA KAKKAR.after that MONALI and then PANNA after that RAVI and then the sweet MEENAL! There is one contestant named JOLLY who has chicken pox who couldnt sing in the galas..so they had to bring a contestant named ANUJ who lost in the piano round..but they brought him back..all of these singers were and are lovely they sing beautifully! There are three judges FARAH ANU and SONU..all of them are PURE judges when they like a performance they sing nice when they dont like a performance they dont appreciate it!According to me i LIKED Panna Monali and Meenal and right know i like Karunya Amey and Antara!I hope that helped if i made a mistake please correct it.

well i'll leave it to u to decide who is the best...but Amey date is an amazing singer with great voice quality...he is a versatile singer...sings good and performs good too.check out the videos in the video link section u'll get an idea...i m his fan so i'll say he is the bestestest.

Karunya is also a good singer...gr8 voice

judges again u decide who is the best...in my opinion sonu gives good comments so he is best....anu and farah dont really care much abt them....farah usually comments on performances

then there is sandeep who sounds a lot like udit narayan.....but i think its his natural voice.

Anuj--voice is fine but according to make song choice is not good and lacks feel

Hi...Welcome to Indian Idol Forum !!! Well the contestants that are remaining are: Amey Date, Antara Mitra, Karunya NC, Anuj Sharma and Sandeep Acharya. For me...the best was and is and will always be PANNA GILL (He got voted out ...but he's the best for me...and he's a great singer...he got voted out just because India doesn't know how to vote anymore 😭 😭 😭 ) ...But if you ask me from thoses who are remaining who I think is the best then I'd definitely say Amey Date 😳 He has always been in my Top 3...Before my Top 3 were: PANNA, AMEY, MONALI ...and then Panna and Monali got voted out ....so I changed them to: Amey, Meenal and Antara ....But now that Meenal's outs 😭 I just have a TOP 2 and they are Amey and Antara ....If one of them are voted out ..I'll just hate the show ...I already hate it because my Panna got voted out 😭 😭 😭 but if Amey or Antara are voted out too.....I'll just HATE HATE HATE the show ...like seriously...anyways in my opinion...the top 5 should have been: Panna, Amey, Meenal, Antara and Karunya !!! They are good singers ......I think this time it really should have been Anuj or Sandeep who should have been voted out ...because I really think that Meenal sang really well...did you saw the episode of last gala ...Meenal sang Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ...it's a really hard and a popular song ...and romantic one too and I think her voice wass sooo touching and beautiful...she sang it beautifully ....one of the best performances I think of this gala ...but the reason why she got voted out is obvious because India doesn't know how to vote ...I just hate the voters ....They can't vote properly since theses past few weeks .....Panna is a great singer and a complete package ...when he got voted out I actually cried and I'm still very very sad 😭 😭 😭 I'll always gonna miss him and he'll stay the best for me ....and my Idol !!! 😳 Now the one that I really want to be the Indian Idol is AMEY DATE !!!! If he's voted out .......It's over for me !!!!!!!!! 😭 But I really think Panna should get a wild entry...along with Monali and Meenal because this is just a HUGE LOSS for Indian Idol ....they're loosing good singers ....But anyway we can't really change anything huh ..... 😭 I live in Canada so can't vote ...if we could vote ...I can assure you that Panna would have been IN and other good singers too like Meenal...Monali..Sagar and Neha too ........All I can say is that INDIA DOESNT KNOW HOW TO VOTE...and now I'm saying this and I mean it: India doesn't deserves a good singer anymore ...they're just voting out good singers .......I just hate the voters ...they just vote anything 😡

Mrz.Ishika Panna Gill 😳

I just saw Panna Gill's interview and heard his songs, he is truely amazing. I guess even in Indian Idol voting is stronger than talent. Maybe I am biased coz I am 100% pinjabi myslef but regardless of that I thought he had amazing voice.
Will keep posting whatever new I find out about this show.

WOW u must love Panna too much. I guess if he is that good (although I have said earlier that I think he was good) then he will be voted back, hopefully.
