From over 30,000 talented singers to the final top five, these famous idolists have proved that they are among India's best upcoming singers. The stage had a special glow to it on Tuesday night when the top five were to be announced. The fear of losing out the race before reaching the top five position was evident on everyone's faces. The change in the format of the episode with both the hosts present on stage too indicated the speciality of the night. The finalists were sitting on the edge of their seats ready for both to be called to the bottom three as well as to sit back with a sigh of relief...no one wanted to be left out as the last three too looked formidable.
Finally the three finalists in the last three were Antara, Meenal and Karunya. "I promise to make Meenal do playback singing for me!" said a visibly upset Anu Malik. Farah Khan, on the other hand,was upset about having crticised Meenal for her past performances, "I am now feeling guilty as to why was I critical of her perfor mances. I gave those criticisms with clear intentions of improving her but I guess the viewers took it in the wrong sense. She was one of my favourite finalists!" The vote out of the ever positive Meenal Jain brought forward the nation's next best singers in the form of the top five finalists. The competition is at its peak. No more tears for the elimi nated finalists, they are busy trying to be one-up on the othes contestants as now their passion to win the title is increas ing. And so the heat is on and promising to get just hotter and hotter.
