Personally, Panna was never my top favorite for singing. I like Amey and Karunya. But I was moved by the exit of Panna. Maybe he is not the top-notch singer now amongst the lot. But he certainly was 100 times better than Ravi in singing and performance. Most importantly, he was the only performer, i feel could make people dance to his song (e.g: Jalak dikhla ja, gala 1). He had improved on his singing also a lot. Its sad that less deserving people than Panna are still there.

I think Panna won a lot more hearts with a winning smile even during his exit. I liked his cool attitude. Wherein most of the contestants would have broken down, he was smiling and optimistic. I'm sure a person with such attitude and courage will do wonders in life. I wish him good luck.

Some Ravi fans has expressed that Ravi deserved to stay back. He is a self-boaster. He murdered the song "Pretty Woman". Not only was pronounciation bad, he even sang it like a 60's song. There was no exuberance or energy that was in the original song. Panna has a unique voice. Panna has improved his singing, as evident from the praises he got from all 3 judges for his valentine's performance.
Ravi, on the other hand has always been shedding tears, shocking us (by upsetting major candidates) and always telling " I want to say one thing to the judges. My performance has improved and i'll not give further reason for any complaints." And as usual, he does not improve.

He's getting vote from his home region. I think they have been too loyal to him, not his talent. I think in the end, either Amey or Meenal may lose out. Both r from Mumbai. even if Mumbai votes becuase these 2 r home kids, the votes will be split between them. Ravi's homeland votes won't be split. A sad state of events for Indian Idols. Why can't people rise above their petty relgionalism and vote for a good singer, rather than 'apna ghar ka chap'?

My guess on top 3: Amey, Karunya and Antara.

Though meenal is good and gets praises from judges, she has been consistently in bottom 3. Antara is good and has an advantage that she does not have to spilt her regional votes with anyone.

Anyways, all have some good qualities. Amey & Karunya r damn versatile singers. Antara, Sandeep, Anuj & Meenal have good voice. Let's see. but Panna's exit has taken away a great charm from the show.
