As much as I would hate to admit itđ, but its true the karunya was not at his best yesterdayđ...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaađ.While all the others chose solos, karunya sang a duetđ....I felt that his beginning was a bit shaky but he managed it well at the endđ....All the others sang solos...a ka
1)amey who sang dil ne tumko which was a solo by shaan,
2) pretty woman(which ravi butcheredđ¤˘....uncleji "pretty" theek se pronuunce karna nahin jaanthe hai and his excuse is that english aint his first language...heck, to learn to pronounce two words rightly, you dont have to be fluent in the language.....its just two words..."pretty woman".he pronounced it like ...P_R_I_T_T_T_T_T_T_Y W_O_M_A_N_N_N_N_N_N...when it was supposed to be P_R_E_D_Y W_O_M_A_A_Nđ.........and maybe this time he might get the sympathy votes from all the junta who dont know english, as he made it a point to say that english is not his first languageđĄ ),
3)though tere naam was a duet, it had separate male and female parts...like if i am not wrong, the first two stanzas are sung by udit narayan and then the next two by alka yagnik(correct me if i am wrong),
4) meenal's was a solo by kumar sanu(or the female singer joins in in the last two stanzas)
5)anuj's was a solo,antara's was a solo .....
6)i dont know abt panna's song though
Karunya chose a song which was more of an Alka yagnik songđ....and the song starts on a very very shrill note and that song would have best suited antara who is shrill, squeaky and soft....antara sings like a soprano....so high pitched and there is no depth in the singing albeit she has a mellifluous voice(I would be the only one saying this as the EVERYONE ELSE ARE ALL GAGA over her singing)........this song is a simple melody with complex harmonies........karunya was not out of tune but the impact was not there
