It's Mohammad Rafi......not Rafiq

That's all I can say about this. You find Amey = Sonu and Sonu = Rafi Sahab I think my ears are of different make than yours 😕

sonu used to sound lik mohd. rafi---nothing wrong in tht---there's a difference when u SOUND lik some1 n when u IMITATE someone---Sonu doesnt imitate rafi---true in his intial days he had a this jhalak of rafi in hsi voice but NOW sonu has his own style---sonu's style is a good blend of western n classical singing....

As for amey---no WAY does he sound lik sonu....r u kidding me----have u confused amey with vinit of SRGMP? Amey's voice has a much more classical touch to it than sonu's---Sonu's voice is much more fuller than amey's (due to experience obviously)

Adn anyway, not every1 can copy sonu in the first palce---it takes some1 of high calibre to even COPY the best singer in the country...

Maybe Amey's imitation of Sonu with janam dekh lo has hada very strong impact---tht impatation was jsut superb....

Well Sonu can sing in rafi's voice ...he was giving advise to Sandeep that we know u can sing in Udit's voice but show your original voice too 😆

I mean all these singers try to imitate good singers and then people also start commenting that u have great voice and u sound like so and so ...and slowly they get used to it .Before sonu became hit he used to sing for T-series and if you notice all his initial songs were originally sung by others but once he made his mark he came up with his original voice ...resemblence is different and copying is different ...so there is no point in bashing sonu😊

yea dont bother bashing sonu---the reason he's teh best today is coz of his originality

Sandeep has openly admitted in piano round result that it is HIS ORIGINAL VOICE", he is not singing like Udithji.If your memory serves good, beleive me.
Im not defending Sandeep but I am defending the truth.

If Sandeep genuinly sounds like Udith, it is to be considered natural.But if he is reminded of his resemblance in each gala,then it should be matter of great concern to Sandeep.
In the last gala Sandeep sang 70's song.it was not Uditji's song at all
But if it sounded like udithji,... one should know it is sandeep's original voice, he cant help.

the reason tht sonu is stressing so hard is because it's good for sandeep----sandeep wont get very far if he sounds lik udit, will he?

When i say far, i mean in playback singing---afterall in india, for a popstar to survive they need playback singing as well---and in playback singing no music dir would use sandeep when they already have an udit narayan who's much more experienced n can sing in tune as well.....

If sandep does become II-2 (god forbid 😡 ) then he's not gonna last long in this industry coz his voice is just lik udit's.....sonu was catapulted into success when he bagan to get out of the rafi mould n created his own style...n thts wat sandeep needs to do

AMeyy 10000000000% doesntt sound liike Sonuu mann u shud check ur earss cuz he is 10000000000000000% ORIGINALLL bindaaaasssss voiiiice thatt izzz magicalllll n it izz verii pleasant to my ears. I am garanteeed suure his voice no one else has it!! His voice is way deeper than Sonu's. They hav compleeetely diff voices!!

Sandeep does sound like Uditji but that's not a problem as pointed by Sonu. If so many singers can sound like Sonu, then that's fine, but no one can sound like other singers. Hmmmm! And Sandeep sang OK the day he got that comment.
Last year, didn't he support Rahul for the same reason saying that he will evolve his own distinct voice as he matures. I am a fan of Sonu myself but feel that he is always biased towards Rafi...Sonu... style of singing. Anyone singing other type of songs (read : Kishore Kumar) doesn't get as much appreciation.
