This is happening (my opinion)

Friends, like most of you I love to watch Indian Idol 2 and then feel bad for good singers who are in bottom 3 and voted out for no reason.

So, I thought why this is happening? Is there something wrong with Indian Janta or something fishy going on? because singers like Karunya and Amey do not deserve to be in bottom three.. I thought and thought and then realised this may be the reason..

Now, I do not think this is happening because of Indian Janta or Sony is doing something fishy..

This all is happening because of Betting . You all know about it, it is illegal in India but still people love it and love to bet on Cricket matches but for that they have to be very very careful, so what they do? they start something new..

As we know, this show is hugely popular, people love it, discuss about it in their daily lives so they start a new betting racket.

They decide who is going to be in bottom 3 and who is going to be voted out. This, my friends is a million rupees business.

Consider an example,

In last gala round, none would have imagined Karunya in bottom 3 but he was. I think he was in bottom 3 because of following..

for example:

someone says, I would like to bet on Karunya that he wont be in bottom 3 (because of his performance) and he/she bets 5 lakh rupees and also on Sandeep that he will be in bottom 3 ( 5 lakh on him as well)

Now as this is country wide network, people who are running this network start voting for Sandeep, they send say two lakh votes for Sandeep, so when the results are declared, surprise surprise..

Sandeep is not in the bottom 3 and Karunya is, so the person in question lost 10 lakhs and racket guys made ( 7 lakhs , 3 lakhs spent for voting)..

Now, this was an example for one person, imagine how many people are betting and how much money these racket guys are making??

These guys are not loosing anything.. who is loosing??

We, the indian Junta,the viewers who eat, sleep Indian Idol....

and the fact is that we can not do anything about it..

Yeah, the same thing happens a lot in sports too. People put money on certain teams, both bad and good ones. In the US, people bet heavily during the NCAA basketball tournament season. They pick their favorites, join a pool and put money on them before the tourney even starts. They stick by their team as long as they're in the tournament. But unlike in reality shows, the final outcome is determined by the actual teams playing (inside politics is possible) instead of voting. Less control but same idea.

This forum does consist of a lot of Indian people.. and by the trends here it is so obvious that karunya, monali, amey, meenal, all of them have a lottttt of fans as compared to ravi and sandeep. But still the actual voting is totally opposite 😕 .. so there's definitely something going wrong somewhere

probably everyone thinks the good singers will get votes...that someone else will surely vote for them ..so they don't bother to do it...

the weaker singers have more people voting for them for fear of losing them...

amey and karunya supporters need to vore! don't just think someone else wil....

I think next gala round will clear a lot of these questions..
If any of good singers voted out then ofcourse it is happening due to betting....

Alternatively, the reason could be that Sony is playing dirty. Putting good ones in the bottom 3 so that people vote for their favourites and Sony MINTS money in the process.
