Well that song Karunya sang was a song a hero sings for Tabu in a telugu movie and was very appropriate to thank Tabu. Thats all , he wasn't favoured. Tabu was hounoured.

karunya is a very talented guy and i would say one of the best contestants...hes very versatile as rightly pointed out by sonyaee...i like amey and meenal too but karunya has something in him that makes him stand out...his voice is so rich...like neal_das said,the anu and sonu know a good singer when they hear one...

Yes, Karyuna sang yet another Punjabi number but take notice that he sung two entirely different compositions. Just because they were in the same language and by the same singer doesn't mean anything. Layi Vi Na Gayi was a more emotional, romantic song while Kawa Kawa is a high-pitched, high-energy, wedding song. Like others have said, most singers have a comfort zone. But Karyuna sang two very difficult songs and he did a FAB job. It was his comeback after being in the bottom three in the last gala. Usually all the singers sing together for special guest but in this case, only Karyuna did. No big deal, it didn't seem like anyone minded.

It gets annoying when ppl are bent on degrading other contestants if someone they like doesn't get appreciation..
There are very FEW talented SINGERS in this II2, Karunya is one of those few.. So wat if Anu stood & clapped, sonu too did the unthinkable in the piano round. Very few deserving contestants got the praise, Amey got one in the earlier round, becos he deserved it..Antara got aprreciation from Anu, becos she deserved it too, Meenal, as we all praise her, is very good, becos she got wat others lack, good stage presence & SINGING..

Don't make a mountain of a mole... Be positive & stop feeling insecure for your favorite, ppl like you will demotivate those contestants..
Say good about deserving apponents at least if you can't praise your own favorite II2 contestant. 😡
