I wudn't understand if they sang in tamil or gujrati or telugu or bengali 😕 😕 .Punjabi wud be d closest to hindi.So i go fr Punjabi 😃

After Hindi, it has to be Punjabi because Punjabi songs are prevelant in Bollywood too, unlike Tamil, Bengali, Telugu etc, which are restricted to their respective regions.
As long as the contestants sing in the language of music (which, unfortunately, some of them dont), I don't mind even if they even sing in Chinese.

I think they should have a round where every contestant sings in their own regional language. It will be more fun that way. Since they all come from so many different parts it will surely be exciting to hear them.

Amey: Marathi
Karunya: Telugu
Panna: Punjabi
Sandeep: Rajasthani Folk
Ravi: U.P folk
Jolly, Monali, Antara: Bengali
Neha: Punjabi (item song, not folk 😆 )
Meenal: Mmmmm, dunno
Yashashree: Marathi

Thats the beauty of our country, so many different cultures and folk music, and what better platform than something like II to showcase it.

well i would say punjabi firstly after hindi punjabi is da language tht everybody sings in & also normally ppl understand punjabi & itz been sumtime now tht every bollywood movie got atleast sum punjabi touch in their songs & also punjabi songs r sooo peppy & also they r sooo popular
