expectations of sonu...

Sonu has expected a very good performance from karunya after watching his piano round performance...but as karunya has a bad throat he could not live upto sonu's expectations n hence he got disappointed...that's it...not that karunya din't perform well...

actually karunya rocked on monday....as anu said..even with a bad throat he sung brilliantly.....his performance was outstanding...i donno y sonu n farah weren't satisfied...😕😕😕

so sad that karunya had a bad throat for the first galas😭😭😭

let us all pray that his throat gets clear...n again rock all of us..😳😳😳

Sonu Nigam also sang the original song, Chak De. I've noticed Sonu is sometimes harder on contestants who sing his own songs. I thought Karyuna sang well, but not as well in the piano rounds. Chak De wasn't his style of song and he had lapses at places. But I think he was much better than some of the other contestants. Hope Karyuna gets better soon.

I think karyunya had tired his best to perform and sing well cuz of his bad throat he could not live upto sonu's expectations.Hope he make it to next gala.

I do agree with you that sometimes sonu gets harder because he wants to pull the singer within him if you can remember in the II 1 he too criticised Rahul Vaidya who is his favorite contestant. since then he sang very well. so he has big hopes from both amey and karunya.
